Spring ball *or* a special TAS technique, according to whatshisname (Wink) a couple of pages back.
As for Sequence Breaks,

You will be stuck in the room with the Save Station and the elevator leading close to the Plasma Beam if you attempt to play through the game without the Ice Beam, Hi-Jump Boots, Springball, Wave Beam & the Chozen Suit, which all are never required anywhere. No problem though, as you can ride the elevator up, store a decently difficult Short Charge there, ride the elevator down and Shinespark diagonally to the right side. Can easily reach the Save Station and Ridley afterwards.

My max. item collection is 91% so far. Is the X-Ray visor in the hack?

Not even sure if it is any different to the original, but it seemed a bit odd: With the Speed Booster equipped and the Hi-Jump Boots deequipped, spin jump forward one time without holding the run button and one time with it. You will jump a bit higher without holding it.
Samus...? Is that you?
Finally, after getting stuck so many times, i finished this Dancing.
4:46, 64%. I skipped some items. (At least 3 PB expansions)
Going to start a new run soon. I'll take a break for some hours now.

By the way, Phantoon was awesome. Especially when you hit it  Very Happy

If anyone cares, in the end i had:
10 E-Tanks
30 missiles
17 Super Missiles
7 Power Bombs
Grapple
Everything from the Samus Screen

What i think about this hack:
First-timers may think this is very hard, but it's not so hard. After getting Evasion, the game gets 99% easier. Enemies indeed have too much HP, but that's what Evasion is for. Also, the artifacts remind me of Redesign.
Nothing else. Bye.

Here's the tank that's really bugging me:
There's a big open room with acid in the bottom, fire spitting heads on the sides, a few grapple blocks along the top, and the E-tank in the top middle.

IIRC, Two supers directly underneath it do the trick.

Noes! But I didn't spoil the first SB, since Dmantra told me to stfu about it.

I didn't strictly test for the mandatory requirement of high jump, I confess. It's probably skippable, but I imagine it requires the snail crawl method.

They are not necessary, and it does not require the snailclimb. Still, they are very handy for playthroughs.

Ok, that's just racist =(

You can make your way up with crouchjumps. I tested this yesterday.
Wow.

Time: 4:27
Items: 93%

Too epic, and when I say "too", I mean, I just shat. But seriously, I had tons of fun with this game, the backgrounds were so great they were almost annoying at how they integrated so well with the foreground and it's surroundings. I love how well this played out, besides having to restart from the ship before heading to Ridley because of the "music glitch" during the escape and saving in that room Embarassed. Other than that, it was more than enjoyable and will keep this in my collection of hacks to replay from time to time.
How do I get to this artifact?
Tried bombing ...nothing happened <_<

I believe it has something to do with this statue:

Any idea how to activate it?

Go on the statues hand, and morph. It's exactly the same as in original SM, in the room with acid, in Lower Norfair.
Note: You must have Space Jump to activate it
Is someone can tell me how to get in this area please?
I need this artifact to go on with the game and my map project.

First of all, you need Power Bombs and Speed Booster. Then go down and then left in that room, and you should find a Dachora. (Green bird-like thing) Use a Power Bomb to free it, then watch where it shinesparks up, and do the same. The rest is easy.
Okay, here's one thing I'm at a loss on, though.

In the Dachora artifact area that you get to via the vertical shinespark, the dachora cage at the top of the room isn't really a cage -- it opens to the right, toward the elevator shaft, and those two Dachora actually run off and leave!  All of which seems like a giant sign saying "Hey, come search the opposing side of the elevator shaft -- right by where you fought spore spawn, the room where you got the super missiles for the first time -- and you'll get an item of some sort."

Except that I've searched the corresponding spore spawn room up and down, front and back, and the room above it as well -- nothin'!  Am I missing something?  Checked for PB-reveal, bomb-reveal, already-enterable-but-invisible morph ball passage.  Is this just a red herring?  If so, it seems odd, considering how consistent the rest of the hack is about rewarding logical deduction.
Samus...? Is that you?
God...
You missed the missile door next to the two Dachoras?
Thanks SMILEuser, now I have all the artifacts.
Next I need to go to the Plasma area but the door is always blocked.
Is there a way to kill those sparkling poles or something?
Danidub:
You don't go through that door in that direction. You get to Plasma from a different area entirely.

Also, for the Dachora that take that elevator: go up a room and see where the elevator ends. That's just the execution cage.
Hey! What am I supose to do here ???

I suggest a morphball bomb.
All aboard the soul train
danidub, you have to horizontal single-bomb jump. Lay a bomb, then move slightly to the right of it. Then when you're in the air, hold right and you'll shoot across.

USE SAVESTATES.
Finally finished!

Child saved grin new

What I have to say:
This hack is definitely the BEST HACK EVER even it's 'just' a minihack!!!

Every Metroid fan have to play this!
You can't even discribe this with a million words!

Wow! When its done correctly you can make a long ride.

Thank you.
What'd you say?

I'm stuck in the same area and can't find a way out. I have:
Morphball
Bombs
10 missiles

Can anyone point me in the right direction?
All aboard the soul train
It's going to be kind of tough to get out of that area.

You're going to have to wall-jump, midair morph and bomb all in the same action to get out.
Yep just stuck myself there too.  Kind of lame, there's not really anything down there for you unless you have super missiles, power bombs, or space jump.  It's a real pain in the ass to get out.
If you had Evasion you'd be able to break the block just by spinjumping into it...oh, well. It'd be nice if Super Metroid had more classes of breakable blocks.
All aboard the soul train
I've made another example video. I fail a lot during it, but...

Dur. That would have made that easier.  I forget about that part of evasion.

EDIT: Nevermind, found the way to botwoon (would have sucked if it wasn't possible to get an immediate 10 missiles into his face and a final charge shot somewhere) and spore spawn (easy as cake.)
