I run this here hotel of an evening

When the FST happened to me it was mp.ISO, ripped from my 0-00. Not sure if I did anything to it before I'd tried to load it. I was half asleep at the time so I probably screwed it up somehow.

I downloaded 2.0 but have been using the one that came with 0.5-2. Not sure which version that one is.

I removed the exclusion for truth. I'd left it assuming it was excluded for a reason, like a glitch or something.

Speaking of glitches, I had a small issue earlier not being able to lay bombs even though I had them and had used them before many times. Unmorphing and remorphing fixed it, just thought it was weird.

And finally, Gravity Chamber has ice beam. Doable or am I screwed again?

Heh, I'm actually attempting that now, except from north quarantine tunnel instead of ruined courtyard. Glad to know the effort isn't in vain. This is the first seed I was actually able to get charge beam, I'd like to be able to finish it.

EDIT: Success! Screw wallcrawling Phendrana, with its low standards (heh) and mysterious valleys with solid ground. Seriously though, what's up with those valleys?

Edit 2: huh. So it isn't the main power bomb that's needed for the phazon elite. It's whatever is in that spot. Learning!

EDIT 3: I just got an e tank (the one in place of X-ray) without it showing the item get message. Weird

EDIT 4: finished my first randomizer. Or at least the first I could beat. 97% 5:48 Spent awhile floating because I somehow fell way below the standard. That and general dicking around.

Odylg, if you're using an old version of the randomizer, (which based on the structure of your log files it appears that you are) you should be excluding the Artifact of Truth. The old randomizer only checks if you have the collected the item in Artifact Temple.

The game doesn't check whether you have the Artifact of Truth when deciding whether to activate the Ridley fight; only the 11 other artifacts have an effect. Newer versions of the randomizer add a requirement for it. It's really not a big deal even in the old version of the randomizer IMO, because chances are you'll find Truth before you find the 11 other artifacts anyway. I always randomized it.

Can the item in the spider tower in Phendrana Shorelines be obtained without spider ball? I have spider, and supers, but no charge. And it's the phazon suit so no chance I can skip it.

EDIT #2: the thing I mentioned earlier about bombs not working happened again. Twice in this run, except it was missiles this time. Again, morphing then unmorphing fixes it. Anyone else experience anything like this?

EDIT #3: Huh. Apparently I do have an older version. Just assassinated ridley without truth. Kinda weird that it's only like that with truth, not all of them. Doesn't bother me though, I'll still exclude it. If I get it, cool. If I accidentally skip it, cool.

Im not sure how to use the new one tbh. it closes when I press a key, or if in the root folder says its editing paks without giving me a chance to specify seed or exclusions. The script is much easier so I've just been using it.

Ah. I'd tried to download 3.1 before but the download failed. That's what I get for using a download manager I guess. Alright, downloaded and working.

Speaking of working, or lack thereof, I tried to get the seed generator to run, but it says the version of this file is not compatible with my version of Windows. I'm not even sure what version I have. It says 64 bit system type but my "program files" says x86.
