so far i'm sitting at like 7 beaten seeds out of 47. i had a couple of beatable ones that were beyond my skill but i've had 30+ that were plain impossible. my luck has got much better recently though.

As far as I know, the only way to get the item in that tree is with Space Jump + Floaty (from OOB), or obviously having Charge+Supers. I remember Parax spending like 2 hours trying to get it with Floaty sans Space Jump, and couldn't make it no matter what he tried. He also tried other silly alternatives like boosting through the cap when transitioned to the wrong room, and that didn't work either.

thanks! Thats actually good to know since I already "wasted" the floaty jump and don't really want to restart the run for that (annoying sequence: flaaghra kill from outside tunnel, watery hall secret world, get floaty jump etc etc..all without space jump)

You can just jump twice and hope that this little light-enemy (called Plazmite IIRC) will hit you at the end of your 2nd jump from below in such a way that you will be pushed upwards and can make it to the item without having to do that very annoying 12-bomb-IBJ.

iirc there's an easier way. you can stand on a ledge opposing the spider ball track and from there you can just jump to the top.

you can also just ghetto off the rim of the spider trick, or IBJ up. You definitely don't need a damage boost, it's pretty easy to get up there with floaty jump.

i've got an even easier method. after jumping off the spider track, jump backwards against the wall opposite the spider track so that you get some ghetto effect out of it and you can reach it. the ghetto effect of that wall is huge since you can even hit the ceiling sometimes.
be sure to kill the little enemy since he gets in the way for this method.

So I finally got my input delay problem with Dolphin figured out, and decided to finally have a serious attempt at Randomizer. I believe I got one of the most deceptively difficult seeds ever because this seed gave me LITERALLY EVERYTHING straight out of the gate... except for the beams. I fought fucking hard for this one and did pretty much everything from IS to wallcrawling Phendrana to going through Frigate backwards without Gravity Suit, but I eventually ran out of options and finally succumbed to consulting the log. I'd ask if it were possible to wallcrawl to Fungal Hall B, but it won't be fun anymore now that I know where everything is.

Damn shame too because I was having a lot of fun with trying to make this seed work, and Plasma Beam was the only thing I had left to find (other than artifacts).

So I finally got my input delay problem with Dolphin figured out, and decided to finally have a serious attempt at Randomizer. I believe I got one of the most deceptively difficult seeds ever because this seed gave me LITERALLY EVERYTHING straight out of the gate... except for the beams. I fought fucking hard for this one and did pretty much everything from IS to wallcrawling Phendrana to going through Frigate backwards without Gravity Suit, but I eventually ran out of options and finally succumbed to consulting the log. I'd ask if it were possible to wallcrawl to Fungal Hall B, but it won't be fun anymore now that I know where everything is.

Damn shame too because I was having a lot of fun with trying to make this seed work, and Plasma Beam was the only thing I had left to find (other than artifacts).

so, i found a iso, but every time I try to use the prime_randomizer or the paktool they close immediately without letting me do anything, does anyone know how to fix this?

you need to use the command line. Shift-right click on the folder the exes are in and select "Open command window here", then type the name of the exe files to get instructions on how to use them.
