after i select a data to play i get the dreaded black screen (as I like to call it.)

also, eating brown rice and organic beans. (I miss junk food)

get the right rom. unheareded. Unheared is 3,072. *eats some rice*

BTW, has anyone noticed that there are "very happy" simles? You can go "grin" with : at the beggining and the end. You can alos go "D" with : in the frount. Also, how many people know that you can change the fourm layout? *eats some more rice*

Was the same for me, I had 2-3 version of the rom on my computer and noone worked, so I started to download every different version I could find till it worked. It's very picky about the rom.

BTW what's up with the forum nowdays, first the TASdisscusion thread turned into a "about my bathroom visits" thread and now this is the "what am I eating" thread... I'm starving myself in protest.

Aw shoot! That is not good to hear about your problems Cardweaver... For some reason I feel kinda frustrated for you, as I know how it feels. I lost all my data too recently and it was a tedious work to restore certain things, like the emulator files I had. I will also miss new updates, because I just finished rushing through 1.2 and now I am kinda craving for more =)

As for the rom issue, I also had to try several times before I found the right one, but I think the best method is to just try different roms until you find it.

Also, stop being off-topic guys, there is a place for that too, no need to spoil an entire page in this or any other topic. This is not a damn kindergarten. One witticism is fair enough and even then it would be nice to include with some real content.

I've nabbed like 10 roms over the course of today (whilst lighting smokes with a toaster, yes) and none of them have worked (the roms, the smokes were great, and toasty!). The hunt for rom continues.. I really want to play this. Cardweaver, sorry to hear that man. I think alot of us know how you feel, it really does suck.

My TAS is going somewhere... but due to lack of E-tanks I have to revisit wrecked ship later. I found out that you can't pause abuse and pick up a suit. Was kinda meh, so I have to redo like 10000 frames. Though I found some funny timesavers =). Like sparking through lava. Well, I mean at max speed, not 0.01 pixels/hour.

And I'm sorry I started this foodchain. It kinda had to be done =/

And, I really love my Phantoon fight, I dunno what's wrong with it, but I rewatched it like 10 times. The joy of creating a good bossfight <3.

I feel bad for you man. While I didn't really care if you updated or not, it's sad when someone looses something. Best of luck to you in finding a new computer.

Sorry to hear that you've having computer troubles... I'd say that I know what losing your hack is like but seeing as you lost much more than just your hack, I don't think I know what I'm talking about. :|

I think that should be said 0.01 pixels/hour. :P I think that the great speed loss with shinesparking horizontally in lava only happens in some particular spots, in some spots it works like a normal shinespark and in others.. Well you get the idea.
I love watching my own TASed bossfights too, the feeling is great. :)

The new trend as in yesterday people was renting about what food they where eating and now people are saying they like to watch their own or parts of their own TASes.

It depends, if you do something good looking fast smooth and new it's sure as hell enjoyable to watch. Wouldn't say I get much enjoyment out of watching my 29/27/25 minute TASes though more then the "OMG can't belive how clearly you can see the unoptimization was this really the best I could do" feeling.

And to once again get somewhat on a related subject: Cardweaver, will you next hack be harder or about the same difficulty? I would kinda like harder boss battles since the only hard one in the game was optional.

Well, while all my data is still gone, my computer is back up and running, which will save me about $600-$1200. So, I will start working on my next hack, but progress will be slow, especially since I need to download a ton of shit just to get started. Looks like my new best friend is google.

Also, my next hack will probably be similar to Gravy (taking the orignal SM, changing items around), but the item order will be much different instead of just having items in different places in the same room. I had a couple of swaps for Gravy (SA/SJ/Plasma/Wave), but I intend the next hack to have more differences. Also, the bosses will be harder, or at least unique. Because of some of the things I want to experiment with, it could take a while, but if some of my ideas end up working then it'll be worth the wait.

Sorry Lance, but I think 1.2 may be the last one for Gravy, especially since in order to edit it I'd have to download my own IPS file.
