I'm not quite sure how to avoid his tail completely. It pretty much hits everywhere :(
Once I avoided a few of his swings by using bombs to propel Samus up into the air. It seems that Ridley doesn't follow Samus into the air. But I hit the ceiling eventually and had to come back down and then I got hit. If only Samus had an ability to let her stay in the air indefinitely...
I didn't really avoid Super Missiles on purpose. Once I got into Ridley I can't get out, and I pretty much just bombed and shot at everything until I found a way further into Ridley. It took me forever to figure out there are some missile blocks in the ceiling. It was also there that I really got practice on using bombs to propel Samus upwards.
In Ridley I didn't really find any Super Missiles on my way to the boss.
In the beginning, after I shoot a few missiles into Ridley, his fireballs start getting in the way and I just waste missiles.
Oh yeah thanks for all the help so far guys. Does anyone know exactly how many missiles I need to put down this Pteradactyl on crack?
