sure, unofficially, just like everyone else's. for now i will have to be the only one on the high scores, since all the other runs are done with vba. :P
Mine was done with SP too. I didn't get a picture of it though. I'm thinking about borrowing my friends camera sometime and record myself playing it on the actual gameboy.
Plus I think I can shave off a few minutes. Probably down to 55 minutes minimum.

Hah! then you could make comments while playing! :o

Well wouldn't a picture of my GBA with the time be evidence enough? :) If I could just find a Digital Camera. Or taking a picture of a TV screen with it on a GBP. Kinda hard to not acknowledge that right?

Quote from Rules:
[2] If this is your first submission in that category, you will need to present complete video evidence of your Speed Run/Low Percent Game/Frigate Escape. For example, if you are presenting a Low Percent time, even if one of your Frigate Escape times has already been accepted, you will need to present the complete video of your Low Percent run. It is fairly easy to record your playing using a standard VHS VCR. If you are unable to transfer the video to your computer, I can do it for you. Contact me at nate@metroid2002.com and we can make arrangements for me to receive your video.
Rules are rules, and i guess that most of these rules counts for MF as well. I solved it (with my frigate escape) with a digital camera.. but i only had to record a couple of minutes and not a hour long run.

Okay but I still need a GBP if I want to record my MF runs with a VHS/VCR. Can you make small amounts of video files with a digital camera as well as taking pictures? Never really used one.
Anyway, so far I'm not really planning to submit anything since living in Sweden & not having a GBP makes it rather difficult. I'm not even using any optimal routes (for either MF or MP) AFAIK & I'm just doing it for personal pleasure *ehrm* at the moment.

Didnt you say that you have a GBP? And where in Sweden, since i have to get a capture card soon ;)
oops, somehow this topic wasn't marked, so i missed these messages until now.

alec, what does living in sweden have to do with anything? i can convert any kind of tape, ntsc, pal, secam, whatever.
I'm sure you can but isn't it quite expensive sending a couple of VHS tapes across the atlantic? Or am I missing something here?
not sure, but zoidi could probably tell you. i'm sure it can't be more expensive than trying to capture it yourself.

BTW nate, how's your run going?
basically waiting until enough tricks are discovered to get me :53. it shouldn't be too bad, because i half assed it after nightmare and got high :54, though based on your experience, it looks as though i may have to haul ass now. still, i believe :53 is within my reach at this time, so as soon as i get that (and record it), i'll quickly finish the commentary (on segment fourteen of nineteen now) and post.
