#23402389034? I'd say more like #2.
Ok, I looked at it closer and the Tie Fighter on the bottom is a little small

Just curious, which do you think is the best? A New Hope?

episode ii. ;)
Cook of the Sea
That was clearly orchestrated just for that joke.  Empire Strikes back will always be the best in the series.

Also my man, you need to be edumacated on the ways of the lightsaber.  For blocking blaster bolts, the Jedi does not use a slashing motion.  The Jedi places his lightsaber such to intercept the bolt.  In blocking blaster fire, Jedi use as their basic pattern a series of positions known as The Middle Ring of Defense.  Heavily emphasized in Form III of Lightsaber combat, kind that Obi-Wan Kenobi used and taught to Luke Skywalker (and thus the entire New Jedi Order) this is a defensive form that turtles and waits for an opponent to make a mistake.  The Middle Ring of Defense is comprised of eight positions:  horizontal high and low, vertical left and right, and the reverse postions of all of these (the hilts swapped with the points, in other words) this is how Jedi block blaster fire.  To see the clearest example of this, watch the Remote Training scene in A New Hope.  When Luke sucessfully blocks a series of bolts after putting on the helmet with the blast shield, this is a perfect execution of the Middle Ring of Defense.  In that one shot, you've got the guy blocking the bolts like they're lightsaber blades.

Wow. All I could tell you is that they swing their 'sabers around, blocking lasers.
PAGE BREAKER
Ready and willing.
I did notice that when they block blasters the don't slash, but that's really because of video games that I know that.
This is not mine.  It was made by somebody else on SomethingAwful.

Again, not mine.  I just wanted to show it because I thought it was cool.
Wow if that were real it would be a mess. Arrow  Arrow  Arrow  Arrow Arrow

Edit: now that i looked at it the guy forgot or didn't bother to do the rest of the swords in the back ground and fore ground.

I never knew they could do that in the past. Rolling Eyes
What's up with rating a picture someone linked from a different website?

Just curious.

In the future, artwork that is not your own should probably go in the Boardwalk.
But it's some pretty nice Photoshopping.

That would be so, if blocking single shots. That wouldn't, however. work in this instance, concidering that the motion blur is coming from previously blocking the bolt on the far right. I think that is demenstrated in the begining of 1, but I'm not sure.

But I'll keep that in mind.
It all looks really good. (exept the Centaur. Centaurs! Bah!)

I'd like to see some animations, though.
Crying or Very sad You hurt my feelings! Crying or Very sad
Yeah, what's wrong with Centaurs?

Lol, that looks pretty...unique. The Power Beam shots look kind of wonky to me - that one in the upper center looks like it doesn't belong.
Uh... That's because I finally got a REAL lens flare, from a light right behind my head. It was just a little cover-work.
Pretty sweet.

That's not half bad.  Arrow  Arrow  Arrow

I'm surprised I'm even getting  Arrow  Arrow  Arrow . It was rather a sloppy job, and I know I could have done better.

Also, I have a 50-frame animation made. any one have any ideas as to what to put the frames on to to play them? (right now I have to use a really fast slideshow.)

Luke blocked three shots is rapid succession in that one scene.  Just sayin.

You've still got two blades that are in the process of blocking bolts, athey are also being swing at the same time, through the vertex of the bolt.  This is not even possible.  The bolts move too quickly.
OK, fine, I admit it, I made the picture with out intending to insert blaster bolts. I was bored, so I added random shots without thinking about any "real" starwars properties.

I'd make an animated example showing that understand you, but I don't know how to play it.

I have no idea whether Photoshop can do it, but I know that GIMP can convert layers to gif animation frames.  It can also optimize the frames  for you.
GIMP? Where would I find that?
