Better, but the saber and lightning are too bright.  The photo is fairly dimly lit, and even considering that the saber and lightning are intended to be their own light sources, they just contrast too much.  And if this isn't there already (can't see while typing this), there should be some reflected light from each on the face and body, etc.  That's probably more of a hassle than you had in mind, though.

Honestly, that doesn't look like real lightning bolts. However, even though it was a ten minute whip job, this does. n_n

Wow, that looks amazing. After seeing that, I can tell what Chanoire meant about the brightness of the lightning. That looks perfect, and very real.

Cero Dominicano, I'd meld the bolts into the sphere a bit more, make it look more like they're emeging from the sphere and less like the sphere's some kind of energy glow that' seperate from the bolts.  If any of that made sense.

LOL, as I said, it was a ten minute job. If I took the time to make such a doctored pic as the time I take to make a wallpaper or a software project, it'd look better than Star Wars itself, believe me. :P And yes, I'm boasting, so what? :P

Now that I've regained my composture, allow me to clear up the 'thingy'.

Yoshi: Yeah, it's pixelated. That's 'cuz it was a rush job, as I mentioned earlier. :P

Saber: Yeah, I know what you mean. However, the illusion I was trying to achieve was for the bolts to be coming out of my fingertips, while having a big sphere of energy floating on the palm of my hand with another sphere of concentrated energy inside it; hence, the bolts would need to look as if they are completely separated from the energy sphere itself. Better now? :P

However, I'm willing to share some info. You'll need Photoshop (obviously), knowing how the Clouds rendering filter works, and knowing how the Black/White Difference Mode Gradient and Difference Clouds work. :P For more info, catch me on AIM or MSN. ;)

Yeah, getting discouraged is literally losing half the battle without having even begun it.

And for your enjoyment, here's another one I whipped up in a few mins for a friend of mine, around two or three days ago. I didn't have time to get it right, so the connections between the bolts and the fingers look rather weird, but they're somewhat fine enough like that to warrant me opening up the PSD again and remaking the pic. :P And besides, you almost got it right in the last pic, now it's just a matter of knowing what to do with what you have. ;)

You're right. See, I can make fairly decent lihghtnig, I just cant figure out how to insert it onto my hand.

P.S. Those are astounding pictures, DZ, though, In My Opinion, They look nothing like the lightning from the movies, which is what I'm trying to achieve.

That's because, see, I figured out this great way to  make lightning, then I found out my camera was dead, and I couldn't find the cable, or any of my old pics on the cumputer, so I had to use my bad camera.
