What pipe part?
rocks, locks, and invisible blocks
yeah I'm not sure what you're talking about
He won't be doing the pipe part at all... he got out of bounds, so it'll be a lot faster to go out through the front. Will be insane.
MP2 also a bit MP1 speedrunning
Oh okay, i thought it was a just for fun post, how are you gonna transition the rooms? well i guess i'll see.

why no r-jumping at the end?
he will optimize it more later
This was more of a "Oh my god I just beat the load and now I can skip half the escape" post.
rocks, locks, and invisible blocks
yeah if you read the description on the video, you'll see it was controller save state. I hardly used any rerecords doing that. ;)
This is sooooo entertaining.

Is the alternate way out of the bottom of biotech (broken glass -> post -> bj over the railing) slower for a TAS?  EDIT: seems like, plus it you have to move away from the hatch for it to open that way.

BTW, that SW also can happen in the E3/Kiosk demo.  Great to see that its possible in the full release.  Does the tunnel actually load if you stand at the edge, or were you lucky enough to find a route to trigger the hatch but not load the room?  Where's the trigger/loading zone(s)?
He actually hit the loading trigger, he just went so fast that he made it into the tunnel before it finished loading.
time to do it in non-tas runs!

cant you keep the lockon onto the pirate until you transition the next room and dash onto the next loading trigger? (and maybe keep the speed of the dash somehow and land right onto the next door)
I'm pretty sure morphing and falling forever isn't a good strat.

The only thing that bothers me is it's not possible to do this on console, the gc loads the room too quick (and dolphin has issues loading that room for some reason, you can beat the load by going moderately quickly) but it's super entertaining nonetheless
It's not possible?
Not on console, I'll post a video of me beating the load by going moderate speed in a bit if you guys want? I don't mean to shit on the TAS its super satisfying to watch but i don't think it is doable on console...

unless that's not what andy is aiming for, then I'll shut up.
Well the fact that you can do it on emulator by going moderately fast doesn't necessarily mean it's not possible on console by going really fast... but I think the loads should be timed somehow.
