defrag in progress
Hi guys,
just want to introduce you to a interessting project: Metroid Multiplayer.
A german dude is programming a game using graphics/sprites from SM.
The game is developed in C++ and DirectX.
It looks much like Smash Brothers with a one screen large map on which players can fight each other as Samus.
The new thing is, that you can use the whole equipment like screw attack, morphball, speedboosters, wall jumping and so on and her complete armory of course.
Features:
- free configurable weapon system (beams and rocktes with adjustable parameters like firing rate or damage per shot etc)
- gravity gun to use objects as shield or throw them on your opponent
- new abilities like lightspeed-rush and a jetpack
First the players choose there weapons, abilities etc and configure them to their needs allowing for individual playing style.
The gameplay is thought to be fast and actionpacked.
