@DeathNoble: Open a Power Bomb door in red Brinstar. You should find a room with tiles from the area before Kraid behind one of them. Search around there.
But now I'm stuck again. I just got SpringBall and worked my way into Maridia. There was this metal door there, but after bombing around, I found out it wasn't really a metal door, but Power Bomb blocks, so I blew 'em down and went on my way. I blew up the glass tube in the next few rooms and got stcuk again.
I've been playing Metroid Reverse and just beat Phantoon and Ridley so I can access Tourian right now. However, I seem to be missing a lot of items right now (Plasma Beam, High Jump, Space Jump). I'm wondering if I get these in Tourian, if I have to find them elsewhere, or if I don't get them at all.
Also, I knew the instant I shine sparked to get the X-Ray Scope that the author of this hack is on hallucinogenic drugs.
Double post, but it's a different topic than the above. Could I take out the tunes in the game and somehow put in the bangin' remix tunes from the OCR Remix Project? Prolly a dumb question, but is it possible to do it w/o the music sounding like crap?
Embarrasing Fact: Power suit made by lowest bidder
um. No. I don't know much about SNES music yet, but from what I do know it's like an advanced MIDI format. Meaning it's feasible to convert midi or similar formats to SNES music (I heard there's a program to convert from org, the format made for Cave Story/Doukutsu Monogatari, to a format the SNES can use). MP3 is entirely different from MIDI though. MIDI is to MP3 like sheet music is to sound. It's not difficult to go from MIDI to MP3, but from MP3 to MIDI is practically impossible for a computer.
And then there's different formats used by different games, which makes the matter more complex... but fortunately Super Metroid uses Nintendo's common format (NSPC I think it's called) so that's not too big of an issue.
*sorry for posting in a old topic, but is better than create one* I'm stuck on metroid limit.I beat phantoon and have 45+- missiles.I entered in the door to the left of phantoon's room and I can't save or exit these two rooms!(phantoon/save pad that don't work)Help!
bomb through the floor two blocks from the door and roll to the west. Continue west across the wire floor, but be careful not to fall through a pair of crumble blocks. Go slowly and trigger the crumble blocks for future reference. Sometimes there is a worker robot in this area. If so, wait until it walks atop of the crumble blocks, then trigger them. If you fall through, you will have to repeat this sequence.
AFAIK, there are none, aside from the one for Limit linked to by an earlier post, hence this topic. If you have a specific question, I (and likely the rest of this forum) would be happy to help.
Well, need help again.i am playing the Super Metroid Battle hack(Which is OMG short)And I can't find the x-ray scope and can't get the wave beam.Any clues?
Okay, here's my problem: I'm playing Reverse and I'm stuck at the pipe/labyrinth room after beating Draygoon(Damn it was easy with the plasma...the shaft to get to it though was just plain mean!), picking up the varia and getting out of Maridia. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
Edit: I got unstuck but stuck at another place... In the RANDOM ROOMS OF DOOM place... I'm completely lost in there! HELP!!!!
The Random Rooms of Doom is my favorite hack puzzle. What you need to know:
Each room door leads consistently to another room, but the door you enter from doesn't necessarily lead to the one you came from. What you can do is write down a brief description of each room, then, through trial and error, figure out which door leads where. In this fashion, you can at least have the slightest idea where you are. As you gradually expand, the exit route will become apparent. There are also a couple items out there too to keep an eye on. If you're still stuck after a while, PM me and I'll send you the route.

Thanks for the tip, but I managed to get somewhere...I defeated Golden Torizo and Phantoon... and stuck with low ammo on Ridley... Anyway, I assume I'll have to get back out of there and find more upgrades so I'll use your trick, thanks again^^.
EDIT: Since I don't want to double post but huh...I'm playing Limit and even after checking the previous posts, I still can't get the blue suit effect in the pipe room after getting plasma... Any help there? Am I doing something wrong?
