Ah, case-sensitivity. Bad news for nate if he used it heh.
Hi guys!  Been reading this site for a while, and finally decided to join up.  Anyhow, I found several "glitches" related to getting early PB from the SW in the Temple Gate area (the first one you can get to).  More to do with getting early PB, but that's where I got 'em.

First, I did stuff normally up to the space jump (except for getting the 101% missile).  Then I went back to GFMC complex or whatever where you get the 101% missile right after the early power bomb.  Entered the missile door you use originally to get out, then went up to the temple and saved.  About the time I was rolling out of the tunnel I realized what I'd done: from that save point, you can't get to the rest of the temple because there's a translator gate, you can't get back to GFMC because there's a seeker target only seeable with dark visor, and going to the dark world doesn't get you anywhere.  So I had to restart that game from the beginning.

Next (or maybe not, but it's the next one I remember), I discovered that you can enter the power bomb guardian's room from the top and scan him, but if you go too far it'll start the fight, but I can't beat him without spider ball, so I had to restart (I'd saved right up top, so it wasn't a big deal).  You can also use that to skip ahead a little to get to the Alpha Blogg by using the portal in the vertical shaft/giant stairs.

I went the back way into Sanctuary, using the Agon entrance, and found a couple more things: in the light world, go through that spinning gyro puzzle backwards, and you'll fall through the bottom into a secret world.  Seems useless, since you always fall *way* down, and I can't find a way back up.  I tried it again, and unmorphed quickly, and you fall all the way still.  I also found that you can't get anywhere in the dark world without the seeker/dark visor, but learned how to roll jump.

The last thing was mentioned in this post by hypernova, where the game blackscreens, freezes for 10 seconds or so, then restarts at the Gamecube logo.  I skipped the spiderball and went directly for the screw attack.  When I came back out I did the ghetto jump to reach the bomb slot in {the room right outside the SA vault, which is the light version of the room with a key}, entered the dark world to grab the missile, came back to the light world, then entered the big, vertical shaft (the one you SA up to get the key in the dark world).  I got the missile on the way down, walked into the next room (with the robot boss), then turned around and went back to the vertical shaft room.  Realized that you can't open the gate without sonic stuff and started shooting at the invisible thing without the dark visor (forgot I had it, so I wanted to see if the shots would at least bounce off an invisible body).  Not sure if I hit it or not, but after about 5 shots (each a little right of the last, in a pattern) the game froze.

At that point I came here to see if anybody else had seen this glitch, and apparently at least one person has.  Annoying though, cuz I suck at roll-jumping still and I hadn't saved since cross the gap at Whatever Access.

Cheers!

I'll be damned, I thought that little icon was just for show. Actually, I'm not sure I ever even noticed it before.

You can avoid falling when you enter the gyro puzzle backwards if you time an unmorph just right fosley. Hard way. Easier way.
I froze a Flying Ing Cache.
The scenario seems familiar. Anyway, Battleground? Did the cache end up higher than normal? (Looks kinda like it in the vid.)

I ask because of Samus Rox unconfirmed SW (108). I tried for hours to confirm it, came extremely close to sticking the teeny ledge but never could nail it.

That was why I was jumping on it. I didn't get to confirm it either. I don't think the cache is any higher than it normally is.

hm i wonder if this is new or not but i'll post it anyway since i was really odd.

i managed to use SA underwater without the method to use it. in the lower part of the hydrodynamo station where there's the portal for the torvus key, i randomly managed to get some air. it was like if i did the SAU glitch but it happened in that room at random. funnier was how i could use SA in a section and then the other section was with water again. when i returned to the earlier spot, it was like no water again.

i recorded a vid of that bizarre ocurrence. anyone interested tell me so i can upload it.

I'd like to see a vid. It's happened before (to Tim I think was), but is extremely hard to reproduce (I don't think anyone ever did). If we could reproduce it, it has potential for a clean grav skip I believe. (With a half hour float, but hey.)

Edit: And anything you can remember relating to how and where it occurred would be great.

EDIT: Yeah it was Tim, and it happened to Red Scarlet as well. I don't know how I could have forgot that. :?

i really have no idea how it happened. i was just coming from the Alpha Blogg room and was going to go up to hydrodynamo and then everything turned clear as if there wasn't water. i only remember jumping towards the cylinder when the glitch ocurred.

i'll put the vid in youtube and post a link here soon.

edit: time for some research: vid
Yeah, that's the place. The water down there is weird (lots of overlap from different rooms which are loading and unloading).

Usually a morph is involved with air underwater glitch. Morphing right at an edge of air and water leads to air underwater or water in air glitch. (Unmorphing should also work I'd think.) I think morphs were involved in the other spontaneous occurences of the glitch (Tim and jng).

I transfered air underwater down to Hydro Shaft from Hydro Station to check this out again. Even if we could get spontaneous air underwater in Shaft, I doesn't look like it can be transfered back up. (I thought perhaps it could.) Dead end I'm afraid.
That happened to me when the alpha blogg cutscene took place and I had to restart, I think it was Doninss who asked me how I did it too, but its not possible to get air underwater if you're already fully sumeged under water, so I have 2 theories:

1.- the game glithces into thinking you are in the surface.

but this theory wouldn't explain why if you move somewere the water suddently apears and if you move away it dissapears

2.- You somehow bypass the loading point were the game puts the water into the room, that would explain how there is parts of the room with water and parts without it, unlike the air underwater glitch were the full room is air.
well hers some gliches .like in the 3rd battle of the ei3 fourm, i did a screw attack and it just ran into the side. But I heard of a  zzzzz sound  the empor ing's legs were completley went threw the floor. when i hit him with a super missle, the game is fine. The unmorth that happened in the sectum (sky temp of empor ing 3rd phaze). in the sectum the emmpr ing 3 jumped and it lagged like it was gnna crash it was kinda freaky.

Umm I didn't understand half of your post, would you mind editing it to use better grammar and punctuation, thanks.
Ridley!
I did Temple Assembly Site SW 39 and played around a bit in it like I did last year or so. Then I decided to go into morph ball and stay that way. After a couple of minutes I come back and see the camera acting really weird and then I go out of morph ball form and Samus's arm cannon is not attached. When in Biped form her arm cannon looks huge and glitchy and Samus hand touches nothing when you hold the R Button. I love falling in Secret Worlds.
Hmm, earlier today I saw a very... odd glitch. I was in Hydrodynamo Station during a playthrough of Hard Mode, and a Blogg died in a very unusual way. I hit it with a few missiles and then blasted it in the face with a charged Dark Beam. The thing just... froze and began to float slowly upward. I could still lock onto it and its' jaws were hanging open in a kind of creepy way. After about 6-7 seconds, it just vanished.

Also, one a semi-related note, I managed to get the Alpha Blogg to run into a Dark Burst twice. I fired the shot, hurt it, and then the Alpha Bloog began to rapidly charge at me, it hit a corner, swam in a circle, and rammed back into the Dark Burst's vortex!aiwebs_016 Those Bloggs are very strange creatures...

hahah, awesome. too bad about the invisible wall.
The Grenchlers still aren't high enough for you to go over the wall even in midair?  That really blows, I've spent upwards of 10 hours total trying to get them just right to jump over.  The height you need is about the same as the structure above the door to Portal Chamber; I always thought that a well-done SA or SA cancel would be just enough to get over.

At least I'll never have to go back... maybe.... >_>

something like that happened to me. you know that wierd statue in the command center? in the flowing sand? i jump onto it and faced the metal structer that held the lore and a scan panel. i jumped toward it, trying to get ontop of it, and when i hit the third jump (first screw attack), the game got REALLY REALLY slow. kinda like an SNES does when there are to many enemies on the screen at once. wierd. i couldnt duplicate it though.

and another wierd thing... in the mining plaza, at the SW entrance (morph ball hole to map station), i attempted it and i saw the secret world, but then i was forced back into the level. so i went to try it again, but the worm shot me and it made me a little mad so i shot the bastard. i used the seeker launcher to kill it, locking all five missles at once. the worm lost its heads, but its headless body hung around for a long time. it was spinning around slowly, sunking a little. it looked like a secret world of a worm. the it exploded and left some ammo.

This don,t real glitchs, but it is pretty weird thing.

When you use power bomb against Spider guardian, Spider guardian died and your must be restart your game. It is uncessary glitch, but fun thing. Is anybody trying that?

that's old.

i've seen that mentioned in really old topics, although i never experienced it in-game.

Hahahahahaha, that's fucking awesome. Something to do with the portal cutscene code, perhaps?
