Argh. I'm damn sure this is a recent development, and it doesnt seem to affect any other games, but has anyone ever experienced any odd vertical screen shake effect? It's not major, just a few millimeters really fast and has periods of non-existence before it comes back. It's high frequency and hard to notice if you dont know it's there, but it's really getting on my nerves and i'm worried my cube is dying.

Kind of hoping it's a known bug.
how do you know it's not your tv?
I dont, but i'm about to move it to another and see. It also might be the 60hz mode, although i doubt it since i've always used it.
It has ever happened to me while playing prime and master quest, except it was an horizontal shaking. The problem was caused by the peritel not connected correctly...
Heh, i found out what it was. Weird problem, but a spider/random bug had found it's way into the horizontal vent in the back (underneath the connectors) and made a small web. Not good at all, but blowing it away seems to have done the trick and not made it worse like i'd feared.
I('d) like to watch (some MP3 runs)
Well, that was random.

Since I suck and can't skip the Alpha Blogg, I found some weird glitch/bug.  I believe I morphed or unmorphed right before the trigger starts for the Alpha Blogg fight after getting the Gravity Boost.  That or the game doesn't like me doing an underwater dash to/from the Gravity Boost.

When the fight started, the room was bright and COMPLETELY clear; nothing like during/before the fight.  I didn't think much of it, but for some reason my Power Beam shots wouldn't go anywhere, as if I was behind a wall but could move freely.  Sometimes my charged Power Beam shots wouldn't go anywhere, either.

After the fight, I couldn't get out because the 3rd jump from the Gravity Boost would not activate..as if there was no water in the room.  I checked my inventory and I had it, but it would not activate.

I fixed it by going back into the room with the Gravity Boost (which was cloudy water), then leaving right away again and the room was its normal brightness (it was basically 'sunny' in the Alpha Blogg's room).  Then I could get out.

It was pretty bizarre and I should have noticed something when the room was so bright.  Has this happened to anybody else and do they know exactly what I did?

Question
No, but sound really weird and interesting. But I don't understand why you couldn't shoot...  Question
I beleive this is a random, non-redproducable occurance.
That's really a fun and weird glitch. :D
It would be great if it could be reproduced but I don't think it's possible because it seems to be a random glitch, unfortunately. :(
The SAU glitch (or "dissappearing water" glitch). It's easy to reproduce if you have access to a water-air edge. Wiki page. There is even a related opposite glitch. Wiki page

Down there it does seem random so far. (It also happened to Tim in Hydrodynamo Shaft Tim's post.)

Edit: Do you remember exactly where it happened?
I('d) like to watch (some MP3 runs)
Oops, didn't notice this topic.

It was either after getting the Gravity Boost or when the Alpha Blogg battle started.
Someone at gFAQs posted awhile back of having been "spit out inside a post" by a mechlops in Dyno Access. I spent a half-hour or so trying to duplicate it (with no success). I wrote it off as unrepeatable and forgot about it until recently.

I was passing thru DA the other day and went into the sub-floor on a lark. I started tapping the B button for some reason (after being grabbed) and was surprised when the mechlops dropped the ball in apparent disgust. It wasn't long before I was stuck in the column, and had to reset to escape. Totally useless.

I think I found a glicth, I'am not sure tuogh well if you fire a super missile without any buttons hold( exept Y and A) you will see that samus put her hand on the gun. now if you push and hold R she will keep her hand in that position

release R button and push it again and it will be back to normal 8-)
I think I might have found a secret world...alomost. When I was getting the light suit
I was just fooling around and I found out that you could jump on top of that one alian guy
and once I got on him I jumped onto a ledge and started to walk around that and I fell through the floor
and I played for a 1/2 an hour trying to get out but I couldn't so I just restarted the game and tryed it agian
and I can get it any time...so I will get a video soon

That's the very first SW.  See this for a movie.

Dran!...i was hoping that no one else found this SW too...oh well...I should of guessed that someone fond it before me
I don't know if this has been said before, but I'm too lazy to search for it.

At Emperor Ing's final form, with his jumping attacks, you can make him stay stuck at the platform you first entered the room from! I have no clue how I did it, but I did anyway. When he's there, he keeps doing his attack that stabs the floor (since Samus is under it). It's pretty hard to hit him, but it's possible. Edit: But you need to stay under it. Not directly under, but not too far away.

Edit: I didn't even notice there was a glitches topic X'D
More Empy Ing 3 madness: All of those stories about EI3 regenerating his energy are true.

If you damage EI3 in his light/dark states with Screw Attack, and use beams after without him changing back to red, he'll heal up all of the damage done by SA, making those efforts worthless.  This can be an acceptable error like in the video, or something that makes you scream in agony as he restores nearly all of his energy from nothing.  He won't heal SA damage done while his heart is red, or beam damage already done, however, making this behavior seem rather deliberate. :|
Random stupid idea:

I've been wondering what happens if you activate two cutscenes at pretty much the same time, but haven't been able to do it yet.

There are these two scan panels in Industrial site, the cutscene of the one used as a Speedtrick only appears after around one second after scanning it. I've tried to scan the other one in that time (you can scan fully scan it w/o activating the cutscene), but couldn't do it yet.

It most likely wouldn't do anything special, but who knows?

I think it'd likely resemble the Mines Security Station WTR? bug from Prime 1.

man, echoes is so broken.

again it looks like that might be an artifact from some older stage of development.

Ready and willing.
Really, I'd count it as the same bug as the screw attack targets being there in the first place.
EDIT: Ok i went into dark torvus through the portal that http://www.metroid2002.com/echoes/without_gravity_boost_catacombs.php that underwater dash allows you to access and not the portal that you're supposed to enter. Then i went and got the grapple beam so it blocked off the path back to the portal I entered. (I think). Then when i tried to exit dark torvus i couldn't because i never lowered the gate that leads to the portal that you're supposed to enter.

Yeah, um, can you clean up your posts a bit? Reading "u" speak is just annoying.

-I experienced the glitch that Red Scarlet mentions, except in Prime in Geothermal Core...

None of my beams worked, but missiles did. i dont know what happened, but it was as if a wall was right in front of me.

-plasma worked, but it was in a very tight small stream.
