Let's see how many of us have managed to break something so far.

Just now, I ran into a couple of Space Pirates in a corridor in Sector 3. One was in my face and the other was on the wall firing beams at me. I roundhoused the one on the ground and performed a lethal strike on him. The Diffusion Beam caused the charge blast to freeze the claws on the Pirate on the wall. He went into a stunned state. I went to finish him off, but suddenly, he was standing up. Now, he's just standing there in an idle animation with frozen claws, not even attacking me. It's pretty funny.
Thread title:
I got stuck in the 3 grapple room after saving Anthony. The door is supposed to be unlocked and it isn't. I have to restate now

I've been told that if you copy your save to another slot and start there the door will be open.

If you morphed after returning upright, what do you think would happen to a bomb jump?

*edit* damn...

Morphing into a ball immediately makes me drop back to the ground.
Well, when you jump and go to 1st person, you do it in slow-motion. I've bin trying every thong with this. I cannot tell if the Charged shot gives you the  boost in slow mo.
Phoenix
If you shoot a Desgeega with a missile while it's in mid-jump, it will stagger backwards in midair, and then be standing in midair. It's pretty funny.
WAIT. THAT MIGHT ACTUALLY BE USEFUL.

OVERBLAST.
ANKOKU
You thinking we might make it out of the game's boundaries with an OB?
Indie Lover
lol, never thought about it XD
IDK, either that or jump higher than you're supposed to.
ANKOKU
I don't think you retain jump control after an OverBlast. But you definitely jump off the enemy, so there's some height gained there.
Indie Lover
but there is nothing in the rooms with them that might need more height...
Phoenix
There's three in that room with the high ledge where you come down after fighting the Seeker bug the third time, in the elevator room. But even if you get up there early, I don't think you can get through the next room. The wall between the door and the grapple points is too high to get over without space jump.

Every thong...? o.o

Also going into first person always makes you go into slow motion :P I dont think you'll be able to do anything with it. The only thing I've found is if you jump off from hanging on a ledge or wall jump and immediately go into first person then you get more distance. I don't think it's useful for anything though.
Enemies can go into other rooms in this game. (except save rooms) Leave a door open and they will follow you right into it.

When you charge in slow-motion, it doesn't speed up the charge any.

Really?  I hadn't noticed.  I don't know of any other game that does this.  Weird.
ANKOKU
The original games could do it if you timed it right.

And I found that out when Samus threw a Ki Hunter into the next room I was headed to.
I like to go fast!
They can go through the doors,  but when you walk far enough from the door and it shuts.  The enemies will disappear because the room resets.  At least,  that's what happens to me sometimes.  They also seem to try and go back to the room too.
Phoenix
Well yeah, those rooms are the only home they've ever known. They get homesick.

While trying to make floating Desgeegas in the volcanic crater, I shot one at the peak of its jump and it just vanished. Didn't die, it just unspawned.
lol no way
Can you land on top of one that's floating and get an overblast?
Phoenix
I haven't tried it, but I imagine so. Incidentally, the only room I've managed to get one floating in is the one room in Cryosphere where they appear.
