only thing i used the wave buster on was the wave troopers and MP
Time bomb set get out fast!
The Wavebuster can eat my shorts.  Oh, it seemed cool at first, all purple and auto-targeting, but then I found out the cost.  10 missiles to fire and 5 for each additional second?  Why don't you just hit me in the face with a frying pan?  I'd say "now wait just a minute here," but it would cost me 300 missiles!

I already had issues with how they did the Wave Beam in Prime.  You know, basing it on electricity, which isn't a wave.  But this... sheesh.
well anyway heres my fastest MP form 1 times,  alot of it is guess work,  trying to guess what color hes going to change to next,  as you can see I guess it a few times but miss it alot of other times

MP second form is alot harder on PAL since he has twice as much HP as he does on NTSC.  but hes still a breeze compared to his first form and Meta Ridley

Really?  I found MP1 fun once I had better tactics, and relatively easy.  MP2 tecnically is easy, but with the fission metroids, a MP that keeps changing visibility spectrums, and a health bar that gets eaten up by attacks, it's easy to get lost and beaten.

You can always keep your eye on MP1 and deal with attacks coming from one direction.
its easy to keep track of him when he changes spectra.  the order is

Normal, then X-Ray, then Thermal, then Normal, then X-Ray, then Thermal.

Keeps going on like that.  power bombs deal with the metroid quick and easy.
PAGE BREAKER
Ready and willing.
Heh, yeah, Fission Metroids are "OMG HARD" until you learn to PB them. Whether or not that's what the OP was having trouble with, anyway.
One shall stand, one shall ball.
I don't think I've ever killed a Fission Metroid without a Power Bomb.

Good, don't try it.
It took me an icespreader shot and then a charged plasma beam shot because he multiplied and changed weaknesses.
When I fought MP yesterday, I discovered I had a superpower - I decided not to PB the fission metroids, instead using beams on them, and discovered that I never had to use the combat visor. I could pick which beam to use with 100% accuracy and no process of elimination required. I was like Neo or something.

Then again, the fight took twice as long as it should have because I couldn't find the stupid twig to stand on, and I didn't go back to the video to look... ^^;
I hate those Metroids that come with the Phazon pools, I immediately dash to the Phazon pool to get hyper mode and blast the living Metroids out of Prime and a Metroid latches itself to my face.
One shall stand, one shall ball.
Power Bomb the metroids before you fire at MP, it makes life much easier.
It really helps when you don't use your powerbombvs to reach MP in the first place.*Checks for powerbomb expansion guides*
Time bomb set get out fast!
Agreed.  It goes against the grain for both Samus and the player, but it's best to just run past the Fission Metroids before MP unless they force you to take action.  Be a Borg: ignore them until you consider them a threat.
what i used to do was get all 8 then when i reached the door to mp, i would plant one to kill the 2 fission following me, usually they drop another refill powerup for pbs anyways so its all good. You only need max 6 power bombs anyways.. even if you do run out switch to ice beam and missles =D

I only use one, if any, on the second platform from the Missile Room then I'm clear to go kill MP.
red chamber dream
I usually only use one as well, but I don't really mind using two Powerbombs. I never run out of them in Prime's second form anyway.

The first bit is easy, long, boring and repetitive

Have you tried the Boost Ball yet? It'll leave you with much more health and missile ammo for the second form, as well as a greater chance to get the secret death scene.

Edit: TRH, that is usually just people censoring for themselves without knowing about the automatic censor.

Edit 2: The 'censor avoidance', I mean.

Whoa, hold on, secret deth scene? Is there a vid? Can you at least give me a discription?
its not a secret death scene.  thats just him being stupid.

All it is, is a certin pilar thar Ridley doesnt destroy, and once you beat him the camera angle is behind the pilar and moves out.  Some people think its really cool for some reason..... Rolling Eyes
yea i really didnt get that the first time and im like.... theres no secret death... lol its just a pillar...
lol yea, its kinda the same with secret worlds,  some people are like OMG I FOUND TEH SECRET WERLD!!!12111

Atleast it wouldn't be as bad as some idiot checking his map in the X-ray visor and saying,"0mg im ou7sid3 73h m4p, 1 h4><!"
