Another favorite place I'd love to visit would be the Phazon Mines.

Seeing the Phazon mutations on a Metroid, or a Space Pirate.

That would be cool! :)
PAGE BREAKER
Ready and willing.
Heh. "Oooh, look at the cool mutations... aww, it's cuddly! Hey, where'd that third arm come from..."
Well, I would be wearing something that would protect me from the Phazon radition, so I don't mutate. :)  Laughing

Plus, getting out of the area where a Phazon Elite would break out! Laughing
red chamber dream
In Prime, I always liked the Chozo ruins. Seemed more original than just basing the area on an element (water, fire, ice). Magmoor was a little boring, and small, but cool nonetheless.
BSL. It has a great feel to it. You never know if the next step will be your last, ans besides that, it's an RPer's dream.
Don't worry about Aether not being on the poll- it's just "meh" compared to the likes of the other 3 planets.

I went with SR388. Nothing compares to the sense of isolation you get in that planet.
Armor Guardian
My favorite Metroid locations:

Zebes > Tallon IV > SR338 > BSL > You [sarcasm]> French[/sarcasm]
What luck, there's french fry stuck in my beard.
I wish I could add poll options.  Aether kicks Tallon IV, SR388, and BSL's asses by a long shot.

Though Zebes is still mah favorite.

EDIT: omg teh 1337 postses!!!!
Hmmm...

SR388 > Tallon IV > Zebes > SR388 Space Station > Aether
Zebes>SR3-88>Tallon IV>Space Lab>Aether
What luck, there's french fry stuck in my beard.
No, no, no, you got it all wrong:

Zebes>Aether>SR388>Tallon IV>BSL
Too many fangirls to count
Zebes.
I still like Zebes most of all: Got to go with the classic  :D

Although, my order is as follows:

Zebes - Aether - Tallon IV - SR388 - BSL Station
Quote from Sesshoumaru:
BSL gets no love  Crying or Very sad

I loved Fusion.  The only thing I hated about B.S.L. was the evilness of the little crawly things in TRO Evil or Very Mad
THEY SUCKED! very slow but do tons of damage if you touch them!  Evil or Very Mad Tallon IV = goodness.
What luck, there's french fry stuck in my beard.
Was anyone else bothered by how the Zeros cocooned and then became Kihunters?
As far as the environments go, I think Tallon IV wins hands-down.  When you walk through Chozo Ruins, it actually seems like you're walking through ruins of a civilization long gone.  That whole game has a great setting and was immersive.

That's not to say that the games on Zebes were bad.  Super Metroid had a great soundtrack that really set the mood.  However, if you were going to really be walking through Brinstar, you're not going to hear the music, unless the creatures happen to naturally make sounds in MIDI that flow together in beautiful, melodic songs.  If that's the case, I feel really bad for killing them.

Also, when you're walking through Zebes, could you ever imagine any kind of civilization living in those places?  Those Chozo had to be crazy, placing all those spike traps and (supposed) only accessible with grapple spots.  I mean, seriously.  The layout and design of the Zebes games made for REALLY GOOD gameplay, but made no sense whatsoever.

I still voted for Zebes.  I can't shake the nostalgia from those games.
What luck, there's french fry stuck in my beard.
I thought Tallon IV was boring because it was so Earth like.  It wasn't imaginitive enough.
I love zebes but Tallon IV is cool
excpesial Phendara drifts but those nasty beasts......
ZEBES IS TAH BEST
I LOVE NORFAIR

Morphing-X
Me? I liked 'em in Tourian. Restricted Lab sucked. So did the quarintines.
What luck, there's french fry stuck in my beard.
Metroid series, not Metroids themselves.
i choose zebes
