Well, if we're gonna get technically, it never said "all over cool" setting, it said "favorite" setting. Technically, out of getting run over by a steamroller or falling off a twenty story building, getting crushed by a steamroller is my favorite thing to do.</annoying>  Wink

For me it would matter how fast I would die.  I would pick the steamroller death if it was moving at fast speeds.

I liked Zebes the best.  It has all of the classic creepy metroid tunnels and a good variety of environments.

I voted for Tallon IV. I remember how amazed I was when I played Prime for the first time. I spent about half an hour (or even more) walking and looking around Tallon Overworld before entering the Chozo Ruins, because it was so beautiful and atmospheric. And Tallon Overworld is just one of many places that nearly hypnotized me.

My favroite planet to explore would be Tallon IV.

I would really like to explore the Phendrana Drifts.

Exploring the icy areas and the shrine and that Space Pirate Lab.

Looking up Metroid data would be cool!!!  :D

If I could hang out at any Metroid location, I would choose the cool ruined room behind Ridley's lair in Zero Mission that contains the energy tank. I just noticed, thanks to my new Game Boy Player, that MZM has backgrounds, and cool ones at that.

Tallon IV, the overworld was amazing, and I loved Magmoor Caverns and Phendrana Drifts.

Tallon IV. When I think "favourite," I think the one that looks the best, and that is Tallon, but probably because it is in 3D. None of the others compare to the sheer beauty of Tallon IV.

After some deliberation, I voted Zebes.

I just figured that Zebes has more of a "lost, you against the world" type of feeling... it's more cavernous and creepy than the suprisingly cheery Tallon IV.

I liked Tallon IV, it actually had a stable ecosystem and wasn't being eroded by acid rain outside in... instead it was being horribly mutated from the inside out.

Hmmm... either Zebes, especially the Red Brinstar Zone or Norfair (I always hated Maridia, because it's music sucks) or Tallon IV with Tallon Overworld or Phendrana Drifts, I also like the Chozo Ruins.

But... I won't forget BSL, I think BSL's really cool, I mean it's a massive research station, lot's of locations and Metroids on it.

Well, the subject isn't "What's cool", it's what's my favourite location, so I think...

ta ta ta tam... Planet Earth.

I don't understand whats so great about phendrana... :?
I'm not saying it's ugly but I don't see anything special in it.
(maybe it's becose it's all white and has bright colors)

I prefer more magmoor caverns and ofcourse...dark places.
Like phazon mines. Then again phendrana does have rechearch lab hydra that freaks me out, mwhahaha Twisted Evil

I always found Magmoor to be easily the worst area in Metroid Prime.  It's straightforward and is nothing but brown and red.  It's boring looking.
