My sweetie has been trying to play this game for weeks, but it freezes all the time. He had to start over once after 7 hours, and now it looks like he might have to start over again after 15 hours. It's getting to where it freezes every minute or so. He's already re-installed the game once. He's not having issues with any other game. Xbox One. Anyone else have issues with the game that might know wtf is happening?
How's the ventilation? Get a vaccuum and suck out the dust int he console. In addition make sure to fully shut down and restart the console, just in case (as in power cord out, not just restarting)
That's got to be a system issue. The Xbone version doesn't have major crashes that aren't on other versions. Does he have any mods installed? A lot of them are only tested on pc and are borked on console.
The Vault Tec DLC is pretty wizzard. I expected the attached quest to be like a 10 minute thing to set up the premise, but it actually takes several hours to get through. It's probably the best build mode DLC just for that fact, but it does come with some fun toys to boot.
I looked at the Contraptions stuff too and there's some fun stuff you can do with that too, but it feels like it's missing some key components to really soar. Like, I tried to make an ammo factory, but it's just easier to go find or buy ammo instead of loading the dumb thing up with materials. If there were more ways to automate it, it would be a lot better.
Well shit. I finished Nuka World and now I'm very sad it's the last DLC. Not just because I want more fallout 4, but because you get a lot of cool shit at the end and I have no reason to use it.
So after months of delays, Sony has officially blocked mods on PS4. I don't personally care a whole bunch, but man, what a fucking stupid call by Sony. That's sure to be a ton of lost sales for Skyrim Remaster, not to mention any other future game that supports mods on Xbone.
It's like when all those games were coming out on Wii U with missing modes and DLC that were on every other platform. That worked out really well for Nintendo, as I recall.
