What'd you say?
As the title says. Here is mine:
Well, there is my process, shown creating a simple item room. Now, let's see yours.
P.S. Please remember to sue spoilers to cut down on sizes!
Stage 1:

After picking a room and placing it where I want, I clear it, expand it to the size I want, link the doors and repoint the level data.
Stage 2:

I then take these blocks and place a basic outline.
Stage 3:

I place a few base ideas to help me get an overall feel of what the room will function as.
Stage 4:

I fill in unused scroll areas and top 2/bottom 2 layers with the same background tiles.
Stage 5:

I address a few spots to help me get more of a feel on how the room layout will be like.
Stage 6:
![](http://img861.imageshack.us/img861/4475/stage6.png)
I finish getting the outline of the playable area done. During this stage, I also test to help smooth out areas that don't seem to flow quite right.
Stage 7:
![](http://img191.imageshack.us/img191/3863/stage7.png)
I fill in the empty area outside of the playing field and I add in more details if needed.
Stage 8:

I place enemies, edit FX and place the BG (in this case, it's a pointer.)
