Do you think I could get a good jobwith my nunchuka skillz?
Yup. You could be a martial-arts style bad-ass bodyguard. Or a movie stuntman.

Awesome! Could I become a ninja assassin if I learned how to use swords?

Only upper-class British people speak that way (which consists of around 5% of the total population). But the way you did it with text was pretty good.

Urm, I am English.  And it's a lot less than 5% of people who speak Queen's English these days.
Yeah, it's all the inbred peers in the House of Lords who talk like that. And even then - only the older ones.

You seem to be an expert on heavy sarcasm. I bet you could also get a great career with those skills.

What, kinda like Dennis Miller? Aw, thanks, man.
No problem.

And learning how to be a ninja assasin requires stealth, a fashion sense that consists entirely of...black, and an ability to kill people by throwing knives through their skulls.

But learning to use a sword helps too.
I had a dream a few days ago. I'm not going to go into details this time around as it made a bloody good story, so I'll be taking the credit for my subconscious.

Anyway, after this epic adventure, a bunch of heroes almost completely dies out as their quest fails and a whole city burns. The two remaining heroes (a male and a female whose sister died for the male to be brought back to life) hide in an old shack on a farm and embrace and kiss and stuff...and then the credits rolled.

I had credits in my dream. Not the nice ones that it fades to black or goes over the action, either. They squashed the image like it was on TV or something. They rolled at the one time that you think, "Okay, the movie's just getting into the final act..." except the dream ended as they hugged. It may have ended later than that, but I was so frustrated at the abrupt downer of an ending that I woke up.
I had a 4 part dream! It went from a battle type scene, to an awaiting-a-certain-movie type scene, a giant flood type scene, then to another semi-random type scene. Now i really do hate my rotating imagination.

I had a dream where my saxophone was really a skitzophrenic badger.
I had a lucid dream last night. Man, was that fun. I in the running of the bulls, and I got caught in the dorrway so I pulled an M4 out of thin air and blasted any bulls that came by the doorway.

Too bad I dont realize I'm dreaming while I'm dreaming too often.

You should go buy a reflecting imagination off eBay.

today i had a weird dream. it was my first Metroid-related dream ever.

i was in a school-like place and i had my real-life pets with me (2 white mice) on their cage. then i got more mice in the lab and had them for a while. i gave them food. after a bit (it seemed like days passed in mere seconds) the new mice i got looked bad. they looked all screwed up and were dead. i was like "wtf happened?" and took them to the trash can. surprisingly, my 2 old mice were alive and pretty normal. then i got more mice and after some days they died and looked like they were screwed up by weird mutation. i was worried and puzzled because these animals would screw up when i got them and yet the 2 original mice had no changes whatsoever. then i thought the water and food might have something, so i went to the lab and analyzed the food with a microscope. to my surprise, i saw Phazon though the lens. just like the Phazon in Phazon mines. it was the blue one. i was freaked out and ran to the place i used to store the food. i removed some bags and to my dismay, there was a crack in the wall and Phazon was filtering through it :o

after that i woke up and started to recap the dream. it was freaky because of the Phazon presence and damage and because neither me and my 2 pets suffered any side effect from it.

i've had other weird dreams before. like once i dreamed i was being chased by some dudes with guns and i was carrying a box that had the GameCube inside (this dream was pre-GC unveiling in 2000 when it was known as Dolphin). i managed to escape the dudes and arrived home and the dream ended when i was going to open the box.

not so long ago, i had a short dream concerning Revolution after the controller was unveiled. i saw myself twisting and moving the controller around while playing a game but no sound was heard and the TV wasn't seen in the dream. it lasted less than 10 minutes.
I can't seem to tell time in my dreams...  And usually, anything that's not important to what I'm dreaming isn't there.  Such as...

I'm dreaming about reactions on peoples faces and things they'd say when I give them christmas cards.  All I'd see would be their faces, and possibly hands.  The rest of my mind would be focusing on something else.  Like maybe "Why did I say that when I could have said this?  I hope this isn't infected..."
I have some of the weirdest dreams availble. I will dream im in one location, then after some sort of event takes place, it will slowly change to something similar but of different nature. And then it continuesly changes until i wake up. Just last night i was dreaming i was on some sort of boat dock, with a very, very small playground set(slide, ladder, monkey bars...). Then i jumped onto something(forget what it was) and then my instincts tell me to look into the water. Now, considering that every simgle place that ive been to that has a lake usually has weeds, and i mean lots and lots of weeds, that was exactly what i say in the water. Not lots but enough to not want me to fall in. Of course i didnt, and i land in a very shallow area of it thats basically just a flooded grass area, then the rest is well, blank.

Also, i tend to have a fair amount of video game dreams. These happen when i really least expect it, and usually involve either a console i really want, a game i really want, or just a game or console that i currently own that im either playing a lot of at that moment, or the opposite. Like ive had a fair share of these and usually they dont look normal(duh...). Ive had a couple of Metroid dreams(very odd), and quite a few of pokemon dreams(usually on the game).

A fairly long time ago, i used to have dreams on either: the loch ness monster, or the uncommon, ufo. These would scar me for a couple of weeks usually(only the ufo ones), but the nessie tend to be harmless(because i live in a prairie region, therefore there aint a lot of water). The one dream that has made me permenantly scared of tarantulas(spiders i can take, tarantulas is a whole different story), issued to very, very big ones(about a meter each), that i had to jump over to escape. I also tend to have dreams about aquariums and either some very odd and creepy looking fish and possibly a few puffer fish to boot. I will always have dreams that involve my recent fears, and sometimes past fears(not as common thankfully).

I have even dreamt a few times of being at a mall(very rare). These involve me either not being able to get out of it, or discovering some very odd thing occuring. And that topic, i will even have dreams consisting of me being deposited in an area i think i know of(or used to), and then the whole area changes as though i have never even seen this area before, quite creepy really.

Heres something else about my dreams; i know im in one, but everytime im in an area like a store or a supermarket, i never even think of stealing or simple trying to take money. Its almost as if i know im dreaming, yet i want to obey the "rules". And speaking is either odd, or i cant at all speak. Oddly enough i can still 'think' while inside a dream, its just very difficult.

So there you have it. I have the strangest dreams, but absolutely no control over what happens in them. Im at the mercy at my own imagination, and its rather creepy sometimes.
Sometimes I have dreams about where I used to live because I loved that place so much I couldn't forget about it if I tried. Sometimes I fill in the details of the neighborhood and the people that I think it's real until later in the day I remember the dream and realize it's fake. I wish there was a device to make you have specific dreams. Oh, and guys, let's talk about this. Have you ever realized you're in a dream and then say to yourself, "Wait, this is a dream! I can do whatever the flickerbat I want!!!!"? And then you do try to do something like fly but it doesn't work...well has this happened and it did didn't you hate it?

King Kong was in my dream last night.  I remember sneaking past him, and absolutely nothing else about the dream. \o/
As soon as I realize I'm dreaming I wake up >_>

There is. I read about it a while ago oin a swedish magasine (magazine?), Illustrerad Vetenskap (Science Illustrated (?)).

It kinda looks like the Virtual Boy, and it detects when you're in your R.E.M. (Rapid Eye Movement) period, and then it stimulates you with smells and light. Of course, you'll have to enter what you want to dream about.
Oh, I remember something like that in a kids magazine, not a swedish one. I wish I could get my hands on one of those, got any ideas on where to get one synt, or at least the name of the magazine?

There was an episode of High Tech Toys that had something like this. Only it wasnt really to make you have 'specific' dreams, more like to make you able to actually control your dreams. Forget what its called. Havent seen that show in over 5 years.

I think what you're talking about is the device that goes over your eyes that senses when you're dreaming and flashes lights so you realise you're dreaming. This causes you to lucid dream.

Yeah, im assuming that's what it could have been. Not too sure, been a little too long to remember exactly.
