So you want the IPS of your original boss? Here you go.

*Gets hopes up*

Well, two things could happen, A: the thing I'm trying to do with the boss could work and it'll be ready today, or B: It could fail miserably and then I'll try something else. Somehow, I've managed to stay under the data limit for the first room. I'm currently at 3206/5165, and I'm done with that room. This is cool, because it means that none of my rooms should be screwy.

Thanks.
Were you guys trying to do suitless? I was trying to find where you need to UWWJ, but you never need to. At the door frame of phantoon, just jump high, turn during the jump in the next room and open the door, then go back to botwoon immediately.
Sorry about double posting, but noone had posted all day, and this news merits a new post:

SM:Playground is complete!

I couldn't contain myself to 1 room, so I went with 1 large room, a boss, and 2 smaller rooms. I know that some of the items look like other items (like the mysterious chargeball, or the even creepier springsuit...), but just pay attention to what the item actually is. The IPS is on the first post, and its still unheadered. However, this hack should not only be fun, but also challenging, while not bashing your face in the wall while you plead for mercy from a couple of spike blocks. Not that a little face bashing is good for us all, but Playground promises a unique, nearly spikeless experience.
Whoa, mega simupost, didn't even get the warning screen. Anyway, yes, they were trying a suitless, but they were also trying to get the ice beam and the Etank next to it.

Now that Playground is released, we may need some way of knowing which of the two hacks we're talking about. maybe just type the word "boss" or "playground" at the beginning of the post to prevent confusion without it being too much work.

OR we could let it run rampant and have it be complete chaotic pandemonium! That does sound like more fun...

Playground:  I got Bombs but can't figure out where to go next.  Everywhere seems to be blocked by Speed Booster blocks or Super missile blocks.  Never mind, found
Hi-Jump
but it seems equally confusing about where to go next...
next you have to revisit near where you got
morphball
.

Look for those odd wall/ceiling tiles if you get stuck. If you're actually stuck in the highjump place, then a
pseudo springball is required to get through the odd ceiling right above the highjump
Actually, i got out fine but can't figure out where to go next.  I seem to have found a passage near Morphball but it's too high to walljump up to without having Gravity Suit, or so it seems.
Boy, I suck and this sucks, I cannot even find the morph ball. This is not a promising start  :)

Seriously? Morph ball, though resembling the chargebeam, is in plain sight to the far botton left of the room.

You can do it because of the tide. If you get up there underwater, then the water goes down and you can jump away. Or, if you jump carefully, you can get to the point where you can UWWJ because theres only one space, so all you do is press a direction and jump, just like for the morphball.

edit: added two small smvs of the UWWJs required. no assistance other than a couple rerecords was used.
the first smv is pretty much spoilerless, its the first item.
second smv has a small spoiler.

That was not the problem, the problem was to get the E-tank and icebeam down where Gravitysuit is to make things easier. A Suitless run should be possible without those two items though.
Every Bit Counts
umm... where do I go next?

pseudo springball where you got the HJ boots, and you'll go through the ceiling
A little hint after the super missiles... ?
Every Bit Counts
Was this suppost to happen?

That happened to me too, that is just some graphical glitch.
This is fun.

I just picked up the Gravity Suit. Lol @ underwater Ridley.
I winned.  "Woot"

Nice touch toward the end.  Will throw a lot of people off.  Oh, and I found the X-Ray.    8-)
Anywhere, everywhere
No way I can beat ridley without gravity... O_O
After supers are
pbs look for a blue spot on a wall very close to where you got the supers. if its a blue spot, something is up with that block
Yes I found PBs and got to Ridley. Now I am stuck at Crocomire´s place, there is no boss and the room is very glitched. What the hell were you thinking when you put in that room after Ridley (the one with long corridor and save station, I really found no way out of there so I saved and died, then I continued my game and found myself in the save station near Crocomire.).

What does "winned" mean? Sounds painful.

Well, that room was supposed to be the end. I definitely didn't know you could save, then reappear in the actual game. Interesting to know, maybe save teleporting? Congrats, Lance, you beat the playground. the save station is to let you know your time.
Wow, kinda surprising all the way.

Maybe that save station was in the place of Crocomire´s station in the original and then the load -function triggered the original save point. So, I had 20 missiles, 10 supers and 10 PBs plus others, Screw attack was pretty hard to get, nice. Oh, and found x-ray too.  :)
20 missles? really? I'm pretty sure I only had 10 in the game.

It took a lot of testing to make sure that screw attack was possible. I ended up getting really good at the skills involved.

Thoughts on the suits anyone? Too bright? Hurtful to thine retinas? I'm just wondering because I might use them for future hacks, as they're pretty cool IMO.
