No I havn't but guess I will now. Not very familiar with the many speed runs of this game. unlike super, But even I get confused with the many runs of that game.

Not much difference in route from 1% to any%, even 100% basically uses close to the same route and just adds a final clean-up at the very end. Still a ton of tricks to do just to mess around in the game, though. Pogo Omega Metroid alone is endlessly entertaining.
yeah, but the important difference is that i survive until the end with no health and no missiles and no saves. not as easy as it sounds

Yeah I've never ssed it, alls I'm saying is the route itself isn't much different, though obviously one needs to play safer and it is more impressive.

I finally got the cart of this game, alongside my new ZM cart(which actually keeps save games). Beat it on my ds lite in 2:18 with 38% items. This cuts about an hour off of my emulator time, strangely, although I know it really is a long time to take.

Part of me wants to buy the actual cartridges for this and Zero Mission, but the 3DS will arrive next year, and then I wouldn't be able to play them anyway, since I'm planning on trading my Lite in to pay for it.
The wandering Space Dragon
Well, I recommend trading in your lite, getting the 3ds, and then getting an SP later on and getting them then.
There's also the option of the GameBoy Player, if you have a GameCube.
The wandering Space Dragon
Although I believe a GBA SP might be cheaper. I'm not really certain anymore though.
ANKOKU
$60ish for Gamecube and player
$15~30 for player alone
$50 for GBA SP

Those were at max prices I found that were consistent.

The minimums were:
30 for both
14 for player
25 for SP

That was all on Buy It Now on Ebay.
I like turtles.
Will the Player work with a Wii?
ANKOKU
No, it's specifically made for a GCN. I have one, it was fun for a while, but the SP controls are more responsive imo.
you can plug an sp into the player, but then you wouldn't really need the player in that case.
1:01 any% SS.

damnit, was hoping to finally go sub 1hour. guess i'll have to keep trying >_>

also finally got the secret message, though this isn't really anything special seeing as most of you have probably already done it :p
For me,it probably takes yearsd'oh!

Especially considering there's an alternate method for the secret message posted on the Fusion page. :^P I like doing the normal method, though. I actually find it easier for some strange (stubborn?) reason.
i really hope they don't ask me to do it at the marathon. it always takes me a few tries.
red chamber dream
just tell them no
yeah i guess i can do whatever i want
red chamber dream
yeah i certainly don't plan on doing anything differently from how i practiced just because someone donates money
i guess it makes more sense for donations for shit like naming people in rpgs
red chamber dream
yeah
red chamber dream
the only thing i'm going to do i guess is let people pick which costume to wear

Actually, I've never tried to pull it off myself, but I bet I could do it given enough determination. I'd just have to know where exactly the path goes for each individual part of the sequence.

Still, the number of people who have done this doesn't take away the fact that you managed to pull it off.

BS: Just keep a save in AQA right after unlocking the level 4 locks.

Are you gonna jump-ball over TRO-1 SA-X for donations? lololol
