I tend to lean toward 100% speed runs myself, but there haven't been any 100% vids for fusion that I know of :( I don't really plan on speed running fusion 100% myself, mostly because all those expansions you have to go back for after getting screw attack get on my nerves >_<

My New Record!

Completed Metroid Fusion in 1:19 with 17% of the Items!
I am now doing another run, with less items. Right now, I just enterd Sector 4 with 2 Energy Tanks, and 20 missiles in my amazing time of 14 minutes!

DivX alone doesn't cut it for me. I get an unknown error trying to play it. Maybe the file got corrupted when you uploaded it?

I beat Metroid Fusion again. I completed it Nine minutes faster giving it 1:10 with 11% of the items! I could of got 1:09 or 1:08 if I didn't watch TV for a few seconds and that stupid Power Bomb item. But nonetheless, I will become the Metroid Fusion champ!  Twisted Evil

1:10 14% (just fooling around mimicing Nate's run mixed with some tricks from the T.demo)

About Yakuza: Got a weird "glitch/trick" a few runs ago. Usually when you kill it enough it start jumping around blue. Well I got it to skip the Blue part completely. It went from Blue crawling straight to Red jumping around. Anyone got this too? Don't know how I did it really :)

I'm not sure. I can usually pump about 8 missiles into him before his legs fall off.

It takes a couple of seconds for him to crawl around the room and open his mouth again.

So if you can hit him with 8 missiles while he is spin jumping in the time it takes him to do 1 round of crawling, then it's not faster.

i tested this and found that preventing his crawling as quickly as possible is the way to go, meaning send him into his second form asap.

I'll just post this... My time may not be the best, but I am trying to figure out my own path to take and using my own tips. But, If I am desprate, I will view Nate's Metroid Fusion run.. infact, I'll just watch it now, for the hell of it.

EDIT : Aww... Nuts. I can't watch it.

Get VLC. It'll solve all your movie problems :) No need for DIVX ever again practically. The only files I can't view with it are Real Player files, VMW & VBA files (obviously).

Actually, thats pretty good for a first Speed Run. It takes time, yet very frusterating. I have Sping Break now, so I can work on my runs.
