I can't think of any other CATS who could hand out that kind of pwnage. Oh, and the game is called Zero Wing.
......im dume!
Why not the SAMURAI PIZZA CATTTTS?!
I didn't know you lost coins in SSBM... I thought all they did was get you trophies :S

No, they can pay for continues on the 1-player modes too.
Cool, I never knew that... But then again I've never needed a continue... at least not that I can remember.

Ok then since we seem to have some good SSBM players here answr me this

How is Samus good? She has great long range but up close and personal how do you use her?
Cook of the Sea
Yeah, There is no X-character can beat X-character in SSBM.  And watch what you say about the Lady in Orange!  :D

Dude, skynes, Samus is just as good close-range as long.  She's bloody powerful, and her attacks really don't have much downtime.  she has one of the best Spikes around, Down A Aerial, and one of the hardest to avoid Meteors, Light Up A.  Her A-Attack range is very nice.  She's the one to use.  At least for me.
Her kicks can get annoying, making the enemie really mad... They sent people flying too!
Cook of the Sea
Yeah, seriously.  Which kick are you talking about, though?
The tilted kick, ya know, when you TILT the control stick?  (Hence the name, the tilted kick)

[/idiotic-but-informative-post]
Cook of the Sea
In what dang direction?
Left and Right. You tilt the joystick left or right and hit A. Not at the same time. Her Body Check move is very useful, might I add :).
Cook of the Sea
Oh, those.  Did you know that if you tilt the stick like, in between one of the side notches and the one above/below it, you'll kick diagonally in that direction?  Same goes for her Side Smash.
Yes I did actually, and it works with Mario's side kick and some other Characters like Kirby and Fox.
Cook of the Sea
Huh.  And I thought it was a Samus thing.  The Light Up A kick is really good, though.  Hey, you know the attacks that Samus does coming back up from an edge?  That kick and the one that looks like the Side Smash?  Do you know how the game chooses which one for Samus to do, or is it random?

That's... very interesting. I'll have to go try that.

Yes... I learned all this in training mode going for those trophies. Incase you didn't know, if you use Ness and go to the speed 2x and PK fire like heck on a heavy character agaist a way, you can get in the 80's of constant combos? It's amazing what you can do when you piss around with game options :)
Cook of the Sea
Cool.  I can't manage to get some of those Max Combos trophies.  I'll have to try that.
I've gotten like 15,280 with Mewtwo, and no, I wasn't using a cheat.
Holy crap! How did you manage that? I'm guess you used Mewtwo's Forward Throw? Or his Weak A combo?
Although I'm not a total newb to SSBM, everything you guys are saying makes little to no sense. I just turn it on, wack people around with shiny swords, get my win, be happy, eat food, repeat till tired.
Well, for one. If you actually know what the attacks are and a accurate amout of damage it does. You beat beat some of those Hard-to-get-trophies, such as Mew and Crazy Hand.

The best thing about SSBM is that it's a blast no matter how good you are or what "intensity" you and your friends choose to play in.

The thing that I really really like about SSBM, though, is really analyzing the strategies and tactis and junk.  It's amazing how deep the game can get once you take it there.  There appears to be no limit to how interesting and complicated it can be.
