72 Metroid Marathon

my umbrella goes directly to Bankai

people here should assemble a competing team and beat all games in under 24 hours.

i remember something similar happened with Zelda games where some guys set up a marathon for charity by beating 4 games in 48 hours (OoT, MM, TWW and TP) and the ZSR guys made a 4 games in 20 hours marathon with the same games. they finished in like 16 hours. it was fun but the bad thing is that viewers watched the ZSR marathon instead mostly so it should happen at different times.

I heard back from most of the players. Only ones I haven't heard back from yet have done consistently decent runs in previous metroid marathons (the Metroid 1 and Super Metroid players). Given their consistency and our time estimates so far, it's looking to be around 28 hours, assuming people ask us to let Other M's cutscenes play out. Let's face it, the story's hilariously bad, and everyone loves laughing at Britt as he defends it to the death.

But uh, yeah, despite the primary schedule only filling 28 hours, it's still a 72 hour marathon. You guys like 100% and minimalist runs, right? >_>
