ehhh, i wouldn't call vent shaft hard. I can get it in about 10 minutes if i try. Time consuming? probably.

it's certainly a lot harder than in 22% lol. i remember watching paraxade attempting it over and over repeatedly. plus, every time you mess up in ppc you have to do v.shaft again. so yeah in this case hard and time consuming are the same thing.

ark summed up most of the hard parts - i'd also add that the entire back section of the phazon mines (MQA through MQB) is pretty tough. good luck, you'll probably need it...
There's also great tree hall/great tree chamber. I think that took up like 9 hours of the run iirc.
GTH is probably one of the hardest ones.
oh i must've missed the op fight. sucks that i didn't see it.
So far I just got out of Magmoor Cavern. I had a hard time to figure the timing to get the Artifact of Wild. And also I forgot to mention that's my second-ish low% run.

The first time I tried was when my little brother used to play a lot of metroid prime and he saved over my low% file even if he have his own memory card. I was so mad. I was about to get the plasma beam too.

I really wish that I could found a DVD recorder.

I thought I'd finally ask about this.  So it seems that 21% has finally been done.  Is there a planned run of this ?  I can't wait to see a video
I guess this would be the best place to post this... Anyway, I managed to get into the frost cave secret world without using space jump:



The wallcrawl to spirit is like 3 minutes long now. I had space jump in this video but it doesn't really matter because the jumps aren't that hard.

Hey T3, I know it was 2 years ago but do you have any tips on getting that Hunter Cave SW? I'm having issues with it because the Metroid doesn't do the same thing every time and that tends to completely screw up the timing when I need to dash onto the Glider. Is there a way to get it to consistently behave the same way every time?
most of the timing comes down to luck honestly. as you said, the metroid won't always do the same thing so you end up having to improvise as far as timing the freezing of the metroid. doing exactly what i did in the video is the best bet since it sometimes provided the perfect timing but not always. you can always try freezing the metroid multiple times or specifically timing your shot to properly align with the glider. dashing over to the ledge exactly when the metroid goes to attack you is important as well iirc. also the dash to the glider is pretty lenient i think. the glider doesn't have to be the closest to you for you to make the dash.
