I realized something the other day...
You'll be taking orders from Adam like in Fusion ("This is the second time I've had to take orders from someone. It makes me recall my other CO..."),

so chances are it will be linear, but hopefully not as much as Fusion. And the backstory given in Fusion will make for some kickass cutscenes and story.

Wait, did she say that in Fusion (I honestly can't recall)? If so, that doesn't automatically mean that she'll be taking orders in Corruption.

at least Hunters wasn't made by retro so there's not much concern about it.

btw, the Fusion quote is correct. one thing i'm kinda expecting is to see the human version of Adam here due to that quote.

It also mentions Adam
dying

so chances are Corruption will have some more emotion than other games. That, and the whole 'corruption of the mind' theme fits in well here.

If Adam is in this game and dies I'll be sure to watch the scene over and over and over and over...
so many people are going to have avatars of his dead body.

Hopefully killing Adam will merit a huge achievement.
That's cool. grin new Now the community has yet another thing to look for as we play through the game.
Why does everyone hate Adam so much..?
I was referring to the possilbity of the achievements being included in the game, not that killing Adam would be cool. Although, for some people, apparently it is something they're striving for...

Personally, I have nothing against the Adam character, just the way the computer was implimented into Fusion by directing us at every step. Giving us orders and not allowing us to explore the station at our leisure is what everyone hates about him, as far as I know.

Hey, at least he let you kill the SA-X and unlocked the doors of the nav room.

It is happening; you can see them flash praise during the first hour video.
Since I never watched that, I didn't know. Good to hear!

I wonder, how many of those do you think we'll stumble across while we try to sequence break and speed run this game?

Maybe they'll subtract points if you pop out to a secret world.
Fusion rocked.

The end.

i guess the human-to-computer transfer hit him harder than expected.

reminds me of Robocop 2 where the attempts at making new robocops ended up screwed.
I didn't find it that annoying- the thing that got to me was the lack of press-start-to-skip function.

But the pros of Fusion COMPLETELY outweigh the cons.
I'm not expecting it to beat Prime, but I am certainly expecting it to be better than Echoes (which is still a good game, just not on par with Prime, one of my favorite games ever)... Between the Aurora and Valhalla videos, my expectations, and general lust for the game have increased twenty fold however.  8-)

Well, it looks like MP3 won't be a total co-op adventure.

Quote from gamespot's preview:
Bryyo had a true Metroid feel: It was silent and eerie, with abandoned ships, buzzing creatures that attacked us mercilessly, plus complex jumping and morph-ball puzzles that forced us to explore every bit of the environment.
One shall stand, one shall ball.

Lol, I keep a save right before that scene so I can watch it forty times a day. I may also do a little dance after each viewing depending on how awesome it is.
