I liked your first sketch better. This one seems a little bland. Maybe he needs more scale type things. I don't really know his exact appearence, but I'd go with the prime look. I think that is best.
Not bad. The tail looks better. The picture is definatley funnier when I read what you said about it. I'll tell you some things you could improve upon if you even want to listen to me.
Since he looks different in practically every game, this may be hard to come up with.
His arms and legs need some muscle tone. I think he's "ripped" in a few versions of him. His upper body is the perfect size for his chest, but his stomach is much skinnier. His nose needs to be skinnier. His eyes look too squinty. The back of his head looks a little long. I don't think his leg has 2 joints. I could be wrong though. All I see are big feet in the fusion version. He needs more "finger" for his claws. He needs a scaly/spiky back. That would help a lot. And maybe a detailed chest and stomach. The jointed tail has too many joints. In the prime version, the smaller end starts at his body, and each scale opens up. (Fusion version scales are rounder and have spikes on them)
Could you please explain what that diagonal line is, though? It goes from her legs to her arm. Is it supposed to be a knee-blade thingie, and is just too big?
You know what, don't answer that. It's a knee blade. That's what it is. Now please remove it.
Here's another. You know, I have the sneaking suspicion that my drawings are getting worse with practice, rather than better. :D
He's choking on a Ripper.
I tried to make him meta-ridley style, with the skeletal wings. I took several of your suggestions into account, W.dawgs: the chest detail, the tail, tried to give him more finger, though you can't really tell. Unfortunately, I can't do muscle tone, and I couldn't get any better leg shape than the dinosaur-ish double joint, though I'll check that sprite site(can't remeber the url) for pics. Thanks anyway. Comments appreciated from everyone.
Ah. saw the shy guy kingdom or whatever's pics of ZM Ridley, and the double jointness is confirmed. I just need to make it look smoother. His feet have two claws in front, too. Also, the head needs to be longer, the snout anyway, not the back. Ok, ready to make a better pic.
I also thought: When this whole "red phazon" thing on the gamefaqs MP2 forum blows over, what's next? And the answer is clear: green phazon. With that in mind, I bring you the official (since I don't know how to remove the text) Nintendo art of MP2's updated phazon suit! It's also a test for my Picture It! skills.
Ok. Here's my logic. The phazon suit is awesome. You changed the red parts of the suit to green. Red is the opposite of green on the color scale. Putting all this together, since you did what the opposite of the awesome suit.....
Seriously though, it looks cool. I just wanted to scare you.
Erm, one thing though. If the visor was red and beam blue, then if the visor is now green, shouldn't the beam be orange? Just wondering...anyways, great job, it looks really cool.
I like the green suit as well, but like said before, if you changed the Phazon Cannon's color, it might look less bland. I'm just making this comparison based on the fact that the gun was already a diff. color than the suit before though...
The problem is that the suit should be a different color from the phazon type, but making the suit purple or orange of something wouldn't look nearly as cool as green.
Borgs are cool. Best Star Trek enemy for sure. Though the Klingon language is so fun. Anyways, back on topic, all the Ridley pictures which I forgot to grade get
