Wimpy Normal mode Mother Brain fight

When you enter the room you can stand on the turrent right well accually you can hide up there and kill mother brian like that i think you can get quite a few amout of missles in . i think it is pretty cool......Has anyone done this before?

Yeah, it's pretty common, you can do something like that to Kraid as well.

you can hang on the block and fire missiles into his mouth.

Or you can walk in with 4 super missiles and release them into his mouth as 3 seconds pass. :P

Actually... I'm fairly certain you can't actually hit him in the mouth, that they go too high. Maybe I'm just being stupid, but that's what I remember.

The only thing I have ever contributed to the Metroid community as an original discovery is the little detail that completes the Mother Brain platform-hanging cheese into a mindless game of attack-and-hide. While hanging off the the right side of the right block like usual, you wait until the last possible moment before the rinkos hit you before shooting them, like while they're superimposed over Samus's arm. Then you don't take damage and you get healed or recharged as well. So you can attack, drop down, recharge, and again, with no effort at all.

Well... one time I entered Mother Brain's chamber without the little morph ball hole sealing itself off behind me. Don't ask me how, but I swear it happened. I could even like damage her and leave, but when I left the room and entered again, it closed... but yeah. So that was weird.

Wierd. Anyway, I killed her when up in that spot. I think it's a good place to fire missiles in low%.

Actually, I was reffering to the fact that the little block in Kraid's room is a safe spot of sorts, all you need to worry about is the claws that fly at you, useful in low% runs. I probably should have been more specific the first time...

I think there should be a Kraid Quick Kill video for Zero Mission too, just because it's plain funny. Oh yeah and won't perching on the turret just get you pounded by Rinkas anyway, totally defeating the object?

Standing on the turret in MB's room does work; you just have to keep shooting/freeze the Rinka next to you, and the one which comes up from below. Still, it's easier to stay there than get repeatedly hit into the lava by Rinkas and turret shots and the Brain Beam...

All probation means is that the user will be under VERY close watch. They can still post like usual. However, if they mess up one time during the two weeks, they will be banned, no questions asked.

That makes more sense. It looked like you could just sit there and shoot from what others were saying.
