No interest in speedrunning or sequence-breaking, presumably. Making videos and creating pages is sort of a thankless job anyway, especially for a game with such a small fan following. Unless you're volunteering to do the job yourself...?
I assume Paraxade knows what he's talking about more than you or I. Dual-screen recording seems like it could be a bitch for any capture device, unless it's one visual output, I wouldn't know.
There is one guy who make WR at this game some time ago. His run is done with extremely good quality. I don,t know how hell he can make DS runs with extremely good quality. This was first time when i see good DS game quality video.
Yeah there is no Hunters in main page. As well nobody updated any other metroids too. There is tons good/new tricks waiting added. :)
There are some tricks, secret worlds, and even a SB or two- the main problem is lack of (quality) video. SDA does have one speedrun video of the game which shows pretty much the best you can do to record the game right now.
There IS a DS emulator that can be used for video, but currently you need a really really good PC to get full performance, especially while recording video. Google no$gba for more on this.
I would actually make some videos using this but I don't really know any of the tricks x.x
I've done plenty of Hunters speed runs, but no recorded runs at this time. There's plenty of tricks: Early Items: Shock Coil; Speed Tricks: Alimbic Cannon after Final Octholith, High Ground, Compression Chamber, etc, etc, etc. I'm currently trying to beat the 100% WR.
If you're posting on this forum, I would imagine it'd be safe to say that you also have internet access quite close to you. Namely, right in front of you.
It's already been established that an emulator is OK for this purpose. if anyone can do any of the tricks in the game, I urge you to step up and help fill this (small) hole in M2k2.
I'll try to get some videos in soon. If you read the other topic, you heard me say I'll try to get it this week. It seems like I'm the only one at M2K2(besides IUniverse, anyway) who cares about Hunters.
