Would you play a text-less Metroid Fusion?
Yes (11)
Very much so! (7)

...playing Fusion without all that annoying dialogue? Would you prefer just stop at those nav rooms to see your next destination and move along a second lateror making those elevator trips seem reasonable? I'd like some opinions on this. >_>

Time bomb set get out fast!
I like the dialogue scenes fine -- they're very important on a first playthrough, and they're what set Fusion apart from the "run around till you find some big monster, kill it, repeat" of previous Metroids.  But once you know the game well enough they're a pain in the Power Grip.  If they ever rerelease Fusion, they must, MUST make those scenes skippable.  (Mega Man Zero 3 is a good example of how to do that well.)
Fusion = okay game that does not live up to the Metroid name
Adam = the worm that spoils all things good in Fusion
Fusion - Adam = silent goodness
Fusion would be wonderful without adam or the elevator scenes. Truly wonderful.
Armor Guardian
*Me not creative right now so I'll make the rest of my post similar to Ekarderif's.

Fusion = T3H Su><0RZ
Adam = The thing that makes Fusion T3H Su><0RZ
Fusion - Adam = Pseudo-Pwnage

Ready and willing.
I WOULD be interested, but seeing as how this seems like you're gonna make a ROM hack, I can't completely get behind it.
this is purely hypothetical ... you should imagine yourself playing it on the game boy player. while at one point it may be only a rom hack, it would be intended as a replacement for the existing game in terms of speed runs.
Better yet, have text on/text off as an option on the main screen.
Fusion was a great game. They decided to try somethign new, add a story and history, and I think it worked out good. I didn't mind Adam until the very end when it made little sence, but I can't hold that agints Fusion. MP and MP2 are the real abominations here. 8) Anyway, I don't think I'd like Fusion any more or less without the dialogue, maybe even less because I admired Fusion for the dialogue and story at first.
key words being 'at first.'
red chamber dream
I agree. At first, I liked the dialogue because, as mentioned before, it was something new and refreshing. Now though, I'd definitely prefer not to have the dialogue.

By the way, I like your poll choices, Bladegash.
Too many fangirls to count
I'd like it if nothing told you what to do or where to go.
lvl 28 Magic Leper
Even if Adam didn't talk, his heart of evil would still be there to lock up the doors. So I don't really care.
No, the text is containing allot of info about where to go and what to do the data it contains can't be missed.
