My vote: Varia Suit

if we are able to skip the PED suit someday, i wanna see the varia with the hazard shield, i think it would be awesome, like it would be all orange, it wouldn't match the Varia if it was still blue though.

Personally thought the PED suit wasn't bad in the beginning but it should have changed much more in color scheme and design as you defeated bosses. Prime and Prime 2 had amazing looking suits. Prime 3...meh.

Varia suit from Prime 1 (in prime 2 it had smaller shoulders and a weirder, more GFS helmet). The more chozo a suit is, the better.

If Corruption was anything like the last two (cutscene wise, it already sucks after the first playthrough), than we would probably see a lot of scenes with Samus in the PED anyway.

Definitely Varia. In my opinion, the PED suit is the ugliest suit in all of Metroid.

I like the Varia due to the anims associated with it (well not really in prime 3 but since it's the same suit used in mp2e..) I don't know why, but the animations they made for Samus in this game felt craptacular and not Samus-y enough as to what they were able to capture in Prime1 and somewhat in Echoes.

You cannot beat the game without using hypermode at least a few times, and the PED suit is given to you in a cutscene anyway. so short of using cheat devices to unlock the other planets and stuff, it's impossible. But of course, you didn't need me to tell you that, most likely.

Sounds possible. I've also heard that the guys working on GeckOS are working on a Patching system which may allow texture hacks so even if you can't "use" the varia suit maybe they could just change the texture.

Or just have Gecko OS switch around a few file names and you're good to go! (I did this with MP1 and an emulator. The game thought the Varia was purple and vise versa)

I'd have to go with the Varia Suit. I didn't really liked the way the PED suit looked, and how it didn't really change much throughout the game.

My favorites from the Prime series though, would have to be the Light and Phazon Suits. extra_smug

This. I definitely prefer the Varia. The PED suit at the start is horrible. They ruined the wonderful Chozo suit with their ugly gray GF crap. I shot the woman repeatedly in revenge after getting it. Post-Omega-Ridley it gets pretty good looking though, with all the glowy blueness. But the square Hazard Shield things on the shoulders still ruin it. I love how she's in Varia again in the ending, because it means ripping the PED suit off was at least as important as escaping from planet-explodey doom.

Also, I have to agree that the Light Suit is pretty sexy. Too bad you get it at the very end and have to suffer through the ugly Dark Suit most of the game.

I like the Fusion suit too, it's sleeker than the others. My favorite will always be the Varia though.

I may be in the minority, but I like. The break from the traditional brighter caria suit was nice, and I think it's blue-greenish aesthetic was really nice.
