Meta Ridley, that is.

I can beat him with a little over 9500 meters remaining, and I'm wondering if there's an Achievement for beating him with a certain number remaining, like 10,000.

I beat him with a little over 10,000 ft. left on Normal mode and nothing happened.

Speaking of the shaft fight, falling too far is lame. All that happens is you suddenly die, even if Meta Ridley is 30 meters below you doing just fine.

IIRC my record is 9000-something left, but I've only done it twice.
