I noticed something today, while escaping from Chozodia after beating Metal Ridley (On Time Attack mode), I noted that there were several Pulse Bombus in the large room with all the security lasers. I did that same area  except with a normal file and didn't find any bombus in that area. Are they added as time attack mode only enemies or something?

Were you playing on easy mode?,because I don't think they're there in easy(time attack is Normal).

time attack is normal mode - you don't choose a difficulty setting.

I've never noticed anything different about the two modes, and I always play in time attack. it's possible, but I'd say it's unlikely.

I know that time attack is normal, but I thought I remembered a few enemies being removed in Easy.

No, they certainly don't exist in Easy.

As to why they do not exist in Easy, who knows, it's not like they're hard to avoid or kil.
