I hate Yakuza.  So bouncy, and so firey.  I hate him.  I have actually never, ever escaped from his grip of death.  I'm that bad...
Hm. My favourite would probably be.... Serris. Something about the bugger speed boosting around the room makes me laugh. Oh, and he's fun, too. I'm still trying to get over the shock of Sess beating him in, oh, two hits. Wow.
My Favorite boss is Nightmare. It's so fun :D  Mr. Green
I have 2 favourite bosses for a 1% game nowadays.

3 days ago, I hated Nightmare.

Now I find Nightmare and Ridley to be extremly easy, no matter the %.

I don't really feel like writing up "how" right now, but I might do it if enough people want me to...

I don't mind Nightmare, but Ridley?  How the hell are you supposed to do him consistently?  The first time I got past his second colour (can't remember what it was) I killed him, and I was lke "wtf?!".  I had serious trouble with that bitch...
The Best is Nightmare
2nd Best is the spider.
3rd Best is the SA-X
Samus Lauren
My favorite? Hmm, thats tough, but I'm thinking the SA-X or Nightmare. I was mad by how easy Ridley was.  And plus, it wasnt even the real Ridley, just some X impersonator. :x  So, that dropped him to the bottom of the list. So yes, I think that both SA-X and Nightmare are my favs.

I like Ridley mostly because of the music that plays when you fight him.

SA-X. Never had a battle against another Samus till then.

Same here!
I like it!
My favorite is a tie between Nightmare (because it was so spooky going back to... i think it was the arctic... section a couple of times and seeing its shadow in the background, and then finally fighting it.0 and the SA-X (because it was awesome fighting another samus that was more powerful than you  :) ).
SA-X, it's fun fighting yourself.

They were a bit overdramatic, allowing SA-X to blow up part of the ship, and allowing Nightmare to totally DESTROY ARC (Sector 5), then making them all possible and crap. Rolling Eyes

That's actually what I thought the thread title said at first.  Shocked ;)

Those of you saying you've never fought Samus before have obviously never played SSBM. :)  But I think SA-X was my favorite boss, too.  At first I thought it was almost impossible to beat, but I eventually got the hang of it and now I'm really good at it.  It's just weird to see yourself actually developing a learning curve for fighting a boss, y'know?

Speaking of SA-X, am I just weird or does anyone else have trouble charging the beam while screw attacking?  I actually had to play the first part of the battle with my GBASP on a desk with my index and middle fingers on the B and A buttons, instead of holding it in my hand and using my thumb like normal.

it depends on the size of your fingers and the way you are holding the controller (or system in this case). what you did is usually called "clawing" the controller. my fingers (and hands) are so flickerbatting massive i usually have no problems covering several buttons with one finger, as in prime with the gamecube controller. maybe try rotating your wrists when the gba is in your hands to see how it's most comfortable for your right thumb to reach across the two buttons. sorry i can't be of more help.
my favorite boss is probably the spider boss, is it Yakuza? I don't mind his fire or anything and i think its hilarious when he space jumps around dropping garbage or something on you.

I completely HATE nightmare. Especially since i've been trying a 1% game and Nightmare's my biggest obstacle now.
I am going to go with the Nightmear. He was the only boss in the game I actually found somewhat hard to fight. Ridly is fun but all you do is fire missiles until one of you die. the SA-X is, well interesting. No doubt the hardest boss of any of the games, but as soon as you find the paddern you can take him out with out losing a health.

I think Omega Metroid, it was very nostalgic to fight with the Ice Beam (I adore Super Metroid...).

Ridley also screams like a little wuss. I find that incredibly annoying...
SA-X is to easy. Charge beam, jump over SA-X, shoot beam, repeat.

Ridley is always fun...

Nightmare is fun...

I go Nightmare, just because it's extremely fun.

...I'm afraid now...

Well, with Ridley, charge beams make the fight surprisingly shorter. Apparently it does a lot more damage. And personally, I think SA-X was pretty easy, especially once you get the hang of it. I don't know what you mean by "hardest boss of any of the games," because I can probably name a few bosses from SM alone that can compare. Rolling Eyes

I liked fighting Ridley, although it was the easiest Ridley fight in my opinion, he was fun and looked cool.
What luck, there's french fry stuck in my beard.
Easier than M1's Ridley?  I wasn't even aware that was possible.
By the time you get to SA-X, if you can figure it out, the pattern (which SA-X uses too, IIRC) makes that fight SO FREAKING EASY. Then, the SA-Ugly is even easier cause it has a simpler pattern. Then, the Core-X... As a rule, Core-X fights after gain of the Screw Attack are almost pitifully simple.
As far as my favorite boss, it was probably Ridley. Or SA-X. Not sure which.

They both took me around the same to beat (No challenge at all.)
but I found Fusion's easier for some reason unbeknownst to me.
