Right now i am stuck at the phazon mines so i decided to have some fun. I am trying over and over to get the power bombs early and was wondering if it was worth the trouble. What are some possible things i can do with my new toys? (when and if i get them)

The big thing with power bombs early is basically early X-Ray, but they just cut down on a lot of backtracking in general.

At the Phazon Processing Center, the very top door leads to an elevator to Magmoor. I think you need the Spider Ball unless you want to do some tricky manuver. It's in the Metroid Prime section somewhere.

Very interesting, I came into the mines through magmoor south and when i entered elete contol, there was boss music playing but no boss. Is there something to fight here?

PAL isn't that sucky. It's got the Fission...well it has the no dash...um...Flaahgrah's music isn't screwed up! And I know that if you're not a sequence breaker, it's probably the better version. But since 95% of the people here sequence break, PAL is sucky to most of us.

Yeah, besides the whole Fission Metroid thing, I'd probably like PAL better. You know, we should probably either lock the topic or stop quoting now cause we're starting a quote tunnel, and you know how Toozin doesn't like  quote tunnels...

There's a topic on the boardwalk with several pages of tunneling though. Toozin even participated in it. It was teh cool.

Yeah, the quote tunnel thing was getting a bit overstated, Toozin doesn't go agro or anything.

As far as PAL goes, I've seen the PAL Chozo Logs and they kinda... stink compared to the NSTC ones. A lot less mysterious... less Chozo-ey, I guess.

And suckier PC version. Well, you don't need it but you do need the grapple beam, and that requires power bomb. :(
