Weekly Metroid Prime races on SpeedRunsLive?

Miles brought this up one time during a race on SRL, I think it's a really good idea and don't know why I hadn't thought of it before. I'll certainly race Any% weekly, Esi said he would too and I can't see Miles saying no. So, are other people interested? because I think its a really good idea.

Set it up. It is very unlikely I will ever be able to race with y'all but I will watch when I can and if the stars align I will join in.

well, a lot of the weekly races are done on the weekend afaik, so I'm not sure if its a good idea to have this one on the weekend too, since some people that might want to join could be in another race at the same time. As for a time? I think anytime from 5-10pm EST works well for me on weekdays and basically anytime on weekends.

What day/time works well for everyone else?

I'd prefer sometime during the evening/night EST Wednesday-Sunday. The weekend would probably be better because while it may conflict with other races, more people would likely be able to join.

Alright, so unless anyone has a problem with it and says so, I'll start the race tomorrow at 7 EST.

Edit: it looks like the Prime 2 races will be at 9 pm, so for those of you that plan on racing both games, you'll need to get a sub 2 hour real time run. uh, maybe we should change the time to 6pm so new-comers can play both games?

Yeah, I've been going with est since I think most of us are in that time zone.

Having both these races tomorrow is going to be pretty awesome. I'm definitely excited about giving Prime a try.

so yeah, weekly races haven't been done in a while (actually since november), so it would be cool if we could get these going again. if anyone wants to join it's 7pm on satuurday (today) on srl.

I recently acquired an old TV so now I can race on console. (Although the console is a GC, not a Wii. pls don't crash)

I'll enter the next race if I'm available.

I'd be down to pick this game up again next Saturday. I've only done one casual playthrough in the past 4ish months though, lol.
