Have any of you obtained the wavebeam without having the Ice beam? I just got it and its color is a light purple.(This is possible)

I've done it before, but there's not much point in getting it first unless you just want to see what it looks like.

The colour looked closer to washed-out blue to me. It may be purple, but it's definately a for more bluish purple than the wave beam usually is.

Looks like the same thing as the ice beam wave beam without the ice chrystals. They should've just had it be like in the wave up-down pattern.

No, it's a slightly different colour as well. It's slightly more purple and slightly paler than with the ice beam. I was still dissapointed in it not being puple enough when I first saw it, though.

Oh, and it isn't the same up-down pattern wave beam we're used to because it looks to me like they've thrown in a free spazer with it.

i had been wondering about this for quite awhile but never really tried it.  And I think that they're pretty much trying to make the Wave Beam look like it did in Prime. 

It always bugged me that they called the Spazer the "Wide Beam" in Fusion.  Really stupid.

Well, Spazer is kinda goofy sounding, and it's the only beam that doesn't fit the ___ Beam naming pattern. *shrug*

Actually, Spazer fits perfectly. They called it the wide beam cause spazer and plasma can't be on at the same time. They were lazy.

Is there any reason to avoid the ice beam until later? I just pick it up right then and there.

Why was it, anyway, that Spazer and plasma were mutually exclusive? Seems like they'd work fine together, but maybe I'm missing something.
