Can someone please enlighten me on the major skipping thingies that can help me beat the game faster than 1:07?

Is it easier on an emulator, or GBA?
Thread title:
everybody knows it's true
Emulator. Rapid fire =  :D
One shall stand, one shall ball.
But overall control is easier on a GBA IMO.
Which emulator do you suggest?

Er- I mean *cough* *coughgivemesomerandomnamecoincedentallythenameofagbaemulatorcough*

Emulators per se are legal. ROM dumps are not.

That's right, 0% is infinitely easier on a GBA.
well, i'd say that the dpad is an exception to the rule. also, it's probably extremely hard for an average player to get used to using (and thinking of) the four dpad directions as individual keys. therefore, i really don't think the average player doing average things is going to think keyboard control is rawk.

I'll give you that one as the exception. I'm just not used to the keyboard for controlling a Metroid game.
Yeah, same here. I was like "aack teh uber zo0merz are pwning me ooh noes" then i decided to use my GBP, then my Wavebird sucked, so i used my teh GBA to G3 hookup cord thingie.

heh, when the rom came out, I played on easy with a keyboard and died on the Tourian escape. and yeah, you get five minutes. I couldn't get out of the first room. I positively suck at metroid with a keyboard. my computer is slow so it was laggy too, but damn, do I suck with a keyboard.
I actually prefer the keyboard now to a tradditional dpad.  I also got quite used to using my left hand for buttons, and right hand for controlling.  Only problem is the keyboard issue of not being able to press a ton of buttons at one time.

i thought roms were legal if you owned the actual cartridge

of course, i may well be wrong
you're wrong, unless you dumped that rom from that cartridge yourself. also, in the us, that has to be the one and only copy you made.

it appears i have once again been mislead

no matter, as none of it applies to me anyway

why are emulators legal and not the roms?
emulators don't copy anything that's protected by copyright (law that controls who is allowed to copy what). they're new creations by talented programmers. roms are just copies of games.
That sucks. For free. So what about game saves....I'm thinking my self to death.....
i doubt game saves are illegal to copy, considering you more or less create them (would be like m$ saying a word .doc can't be copied).

also, your sig was way too fucking huge, so i shrank it down.

There are a few cases when this is not true. For example, in SMA4:SMB3 when you have an e-Reader level(s) on your cart.
