If on Audacity, import RAW data with the following parameters:
-Signed 8 Bit PCM
-No endianness
-1 Channel (Mono)
-Start Offset: 0 bytes
-Amount to Import: 100 %
-Sample rate: 11025 Hz

If you follow those instructions, it should be around 2:45.

I don't recognize it, but it sounds like it might have originally been meant to play during the cutscene showing Meca-Ridley's eye opening that activates when you enter the mothership, as it's fairly short, ominus-sounding, and there's a mechanical sound at the end.

To me it sounds like the part where the Space pirates are attacking Samus, I don't think it's played on its own it could be part of the background.
