Also, we're including segmented times in general? If so, on the team any%, miles has 1:01 segmented for prime 2 any% from his segmented test run. the 1:06 was single-segment

I pretty much just took single segment runs from the records so that they appear slightly more achievable. Maybe I should list segmented times, too.

Well I said that because you have parax's 2:09 time for mp3, which is segmented, but 1:06 for mp2, which is single-segment, when miles got 1:01 segmented

Notice the part I put in italics. Given that so few people even run Other M these days it's not surprising that his record still stands.

I did notice Paraxade made a comment early on about having 3:53 GT and about 2:40 RT at the 1st ending, which coincides with what we've been finding out recently. Despite the cutscenes lasting longer the game seems to only count about 1:15 or so based on some of the runs where we've paid attention to real time. (Paraxade's run, my recent one, and your streamed one)

Went and looked up my probably best times for Echoes and Corruption and found:

Echoes 8:40 64%

Corruption 8:12 71%

Whee!

Pretty sure that's going to move you up another 3 spots and into 12th place, too. Puts you at 85ish hours I think. Only about 73 more to go to break that combined any% record! Go go go!

I mean, think of how much time you could shave off if you simply completed Metroid, Hunters, and Other M. You know, three of the most polarizing games in the series from a gameplay standpoint. Shouldn't be hard, right? laugh new

If I could bring myself to put Other M back in I could check my time on it but... Other M. I'll probably get to it.

I have completed Metroid also but I totally cheated so it doesn't count, I wish I could stand to play that game at all. Confused

Yeah, unfortunately, it's fun ONLY if you're speedrunning it. Still, big jumps, I like it.

After I break 3:56 in other m, I might go back to corruption and improve that. I don't think I'm too far from having the series SSable. :^D O_O

do it jagger. The easier breaks are very easy as long as you know how to BSJ. Specifically the jungle bryyo turret skip and hazard skip.

Berserker Lord Skip in Elysia is a bit rough if you don't know what you're doing, but you can go for that too

(old) Metroid Prime: any% PAL 1:23 h

Finally improved my Hunters time on my third playthrough, by an hour and 32 minutes, putting me in first! Then I figured it's probably time to double-check my math JUST in case I typoed. Turns out...I totally missed that I didn't update my other times after my mini Metroidthon back in November.

maybe i should pay more attention to my bad games and play them more.

the only times i recall so far are:

mzm: 40:xx (stupid seconds)
mp1: 1:47
pinball: 30 minutes (a bit less but this lacks timer)
mp2: 1:38
mp3: 3:11
m2: 4 hours
sm: 5 hours (only have a 100% time here)
om: 8 hours (i only remember my 100% time)
fusion: 1:01

i've beaten m1 but only with the super powered password.

haven't beat hunters yet (and i got it on release. such shame)

Added you, uchiha, though I put 59 minutes for the times rounded by hour until you can be more specific. I'm not tracking Pinball because it's more of a spin-off than actual canon. Also not accepting times using codes for stuff you didn't get in Metroid 1. Congrats on top 10.
