Missiles
Violet Translator
Bombs
Amber Translator
Space Jump
Power Bomb Expansion
Dark Beam
Light Beam
Boost Ball
Seeker Missiles
Dark Suit
Grapple Beam
Dark Visor
Cobalt Translator
Spider Ball
Echo Visor
Screw Attack
Annihilator Beam
Light Suit
Main Power Bombs

I want to skip Dark Suit, and I have a file at Grapple Beam without it. Also Cobalt Translator and/or Echo Visor seem skip-able maybe? At the very least you could trade Cobalt Translator for the missile just outside of the Spider Ball room. Also Quad/Annihilator skip would be cool if that was somehow possible.

Skipped items:
Super Missiles
Emerald Translator
Gravity Boost
All expansions

doesn't sound like much, but before today the low% was literally natural low%

yay sub 1:30, still with Kirby´s Beginners route.
Still a lot to learn like 1 round Emperor Ing Phase 1 and DS 3 quick kill, or at least killing it faster than I did.
I also want to add some faster room strats.

However I still don´t get how you can get a 1:21 like kirby with this route.

damn, nice skipped the :58

Another 6 mins improvement. I think I will learn faster/harder strats now, before I start another run.
Dang. Good luck on sub-1:20, I remember the first time I got that and I was super happy :P

i remember having a pretty hard time when i got that back in 2012 and i was really really happy about it aswell i was 2nd place with that time for like 6 months or something :D
so thats quite an impressive time to get.
thanks, the run is only so "good", because Kirby´s beginners route is already quite good (thank you very much on this point).
However the hard stuff is just about to begin now.

I want to use a better route now, so I think I will just try to copy some stuff, or see what I can do consistently
( I think I will try sand digger and skip violet translator now ).

However I haven´t practiced some stuff with less ammo and health, so I need to get faster with quad skip and idk how to do chykka with less ammo.

Btw. here´s the video:
Any constructive criticism is appreciated.

I haven't watched your run yet, but I highly recommend learning the sandigger wallcrawl and quadraxis skip for now. The first sandigger wallcrawl is pretty easy to do after you do it 2-3 times; the hard part is getting OoB in the first place. But it saves over 2 minutes so it's pretty huge. The disadvantage is that you'll miss out on the beam ammo and an extra e-tank in agon pirate labs, if you get those for backup, but it's a lot of time save.

Quad skip also isn't too bad, provided you have ~5 e-tanks or more, for starting out at least. You could easily have 6-7 e-tanks without losing that much time and still make quad skip worth it; you would just have to adjust for no annihilator beam for chykka/EI1 (which aren't really that bad).

If you're concerned about doing chykka with only 50 beam ammo, you could go for the beam ammo expansion in watch station. That doesn't take too much time to get ; basically get on the spider track (like you do for early screw attack), morph on the lifted door, and bomb jump to the spider track above the bomb slot.

Delayed violet translator (with the grapple route) saves about a minute but it makes the overall route significantly harder, have wayyyyyyy more wallcrawling, and could easily make you lose time to not make it worth it, including doing sandigger a second time and doing the annoying great temple wallcrawl. I wouldn't really recommend trying it out until you get more comfortable with the other two route changes (especially sandigger wallcrawl for dark beam).
I already did skip Quadraxis, but I need to skip an E-Tank for sand digger. However I already skipped one E-Tank in the run, so I think this should be no problem. I could even skip another one without too much of a hassle, up to only 4 E-Tanks left if I´m lucky.
I´ll study the sand digger wall crawl now I guess.

I beat 6% hard finally fml. I did it with USB loader so I won't bother submitting a time (it wasn't going to break any records anyway lmao)

my capture card hates the "The End" screen, so I took a picture with my phone because that would be better quality >_>
