Lately with all the jazz surrounding the unity of Secret Worlds and Sequence Breaking, I thought I might as well unite Secret Worlds with Low Percent runs too.

I don't know if you're familiar with what Secret World #5 is, but using it, it's indeed possible and actually very easy to get past Ventilation Shaft without Boost Ball.  Get into Omega Research, hop into SW5, float up to the ventilation shaft door, and using various wallcrawling techniques, you can easily bypass Vent Shaft from in a Secret World state.

If you want to know how it works or if you'd rather stick to the bomb jump method, let me know, but I think this will make things much easier on you low percenters.  It doesn't take that long either as long as you know what you're doing, took me eight minutes to go from SW5 to door warping back into the room after Vent Shaft  Wink .  Post if you want to know how to do it!!!

sounds very interesting... tell me!

although I don't do speed runs, I wanna see this.

maybe some professional speed runners would use these techniques. that would popularize secret worlds a LOT. Twisted Evil
Cool, nice discovery. I'd like to know how to do it, but I have no experience at all with secret worlds. Is there a SW that could lead straight to the room that has the plasma beam in it? I'm sure a lot of people would be happy if that was discovered...
argggg I just posted my huge method to do this then I lost it when my internet crapped out on me  Evil or Very Mad .

HERE I GO AGAIN...

Okay, get into SW5 and walk over to where the ice beam door to VS would be (if you weren't 100 feet below it).  Stand a few feet back and allow yourself to float up to the door.  It could take a while, but it's much easier than my 8 minute method, especially if you've never wallcrawled before.

After you've floated up past the door, push forward and you should fall onto it.  If not, bomb jump your way over to the door and unmorph onto it.  Shoot the door from above and wait a few seconds, then L-lock your view down and jump off the door, fall a small amount, then jump back onto the door.  It should turn white again and you'll notice that you can now shoot the boundaries of VS.  Strafe over the door or jump into VS and it should load its graphics and your map should say you're in VS.  If not, simply strafe back and forth over the door until your map says you're in VS.  Once this is done, you must perform the "door jump dump," simply grey the door, jump off the door, fall a bit, then jump back onto the door.  Omega Research should dump.  Now you can freely jump or bomb jump across the roof of VS to reach the other door.  Be sure to put on a smug grin as you pass the dreaded halfpipe.

Once you get to the next door leading to the next room (which I'm not sure what it is), stand on the door and strafe in the direction of where the next room would be.  Turn around and face in the direction of the white door.  Morph into a ball and fall a very small distance until you're floating in a SW state right in front of the door.  Then, shoot the door and wait for it to load around you.  It'll take a few seconds but the room will load around you and you'll be on the opposite side of VS!

But don't rush yet, you need to fix the door warping glitch.  Simply walk into VS and go far enough to allow the door to close behind you.  Then wait five seconds and turn right back around and head out the door, having no need for the evil bomb jump through the half pipe!

If anyone has any problems with this, feel free to email me, but I know this will work and I bet it's easier... maybe slower... but easier than the bomb jump method.
