Well those glasses would be a huge choking hazard for one. :v

I imagine getting a toy to that level of quality would be pretty expensive, and I don't know how big the My little Pony collectors market is, so it may not currently be worth doing as far as Hasbro is concerned. Kids are okay with the current duck faced ponies.

But yeah If they made that kind of toy I'd try find some way to get that Rarity. Maybe a Fluttershy too so they could hang out.

whoops, I guess I should be posting pony stuff here instead of the social topic.

The figures have a good amount of weight to them. Like Celestia really feels solid. All of them are made with a soft plastic so you can bend them a bit, and they feel really soft.

I actually ended up switching out the two pinkie pie's with the fluttershy McD toy. The pinkies were way too pink and I'm sure my sister would have stolen them if they caught her eye

Spike on all fours looks kinda weird, actually.

Also rewatched the finale a bit ago, forgot how well done the Pony Pokey sequence was, probably better than the big Grand Gala sequence even if the latter had an arguably better song. But Pony Pokey gets the distinction of being the only Pinkie song I actually like.

I think I'm gonna have to see about gluing spike on top of Twilight. Theres no room on her back though because of her hair, but he almost fits right on her head, but he falls off easily.

and yeah I agree that the pony pokey is actually pretty awesome. The whole scene of it is done really well with including the other characters, and Fluttershy's "COME OUT" in the middle.

Haha yeah, angry Fluttershy was just outstanding in every way. Working it into that song was a nice bonus. They way the whole song tied into what was going on with the other ponies was great really.

The book starts off well enough. RD seems kinda strange though. Also, I'll apologize for my terrible scanner beforehand. It tried its best.

Boy, that sure doesn't look like a smiling Twilight to me.

And it only gets better (worse) from here.

The ruler in "Ponydom"? I guess 'Equestria' was too hard for kids to read or something.

Also, this is the first appearance of derplight spokle. dat mouth.

Note that Spike looks... totally normal and not weird at all. huh.

Charging random ponies you've never seen to introduce them to your clan? I wouldn't want to make friends in Ponydom either if they all acted like that.

The art isn't actually TOO bad in this one. At least AJ has her hat, which deserves some kind of credit.

Once again, spike looking normal, but a tad bit excited.

Oh celestia, what's wrong with AJ's arms? ... are those even her arms? I think the thing sticking out of her neck is supposed to be an arm with a hoof at the end, but I'm not sure what appendage is supposed to be the thing under her face.

Thankfully Rarity is looking pretty normal in this one.

I think this is my favorite page in the whole book.

derplight is making my favorite face on this page. On the second page it looks like its implying that Cherilee (who is also making a hilarious face) is the mayor.

notice how applebloom gets left out through all of this. I guess it's probably because they didn't make an applebloom toy. Also explains why they would put cherilee in there.

Apparently "Night Mare MOON" was too long of a name, so they shortened her name to just "Night Mare".

My theory is that this is an alternate universe. Instead of Equestria, this is Ponydom.

This page is surprisingly normal, except for "Princess Selena". SELENA? Really? Maybe that was going to be her name originally though.

But I think this reinforces my theory that this isn't a book about Equestria, but really just a book about this strange alternate universe. Selena is a nice name though.

more Derplight, and funny looking RD and Pinkie.

also... "Snicker at the Scary". <__<

Pinkie sounds a lot more heroic in this realm. Instead of giggling at trees with faces on them to make them poof, she just tells them to pony-up and quit being wussies.

I assume this is the "Oh no I'm falling to my doom" picture that you guys were talking about.

Other than that, nothing too interesting to talk about on this page.

Oh boy, the suspense! What will happen next? Will Night Mare show up and break things? Will there be an awesome battle? I'm terribly excited.

only weird looking thing really on this page is pinkie on the second page. Her hair at the top is kinda flat.

Also it should be noted in this version spike goes with them.

Turns out Night Mare doesn't show up at all. So I guess the magic was supposed to be used to summon Celestia back from... wherever it was she went to.

Next page is the last page.

So we never actually find out what happened to Night Mare, or if she turned back into Lun- I mean, Selena.

Wasn't that a heart-warming story? It was quite an honor to share it with you guys, lets do it again sometime. Wait a second, AJ doesn't have her hat, blasphemy!

My guess is it was one of the names they were kicking around, yeah, this was likely all done before much of the pilot was finalized. So some names were probably a best guess kind of deal.

I think Selena's better, honestly, not quite as obvious a reference as Luna. It's also just a way better name.
