Strategy Guide Writer
Hey all,
I've cleared this topic with nate, so it's all cool. Basically, I'm taking what I've learned from iPhone app development and I'm looking to focus on creating some guides to full series of specific popular franchises. And with my Metroid history, I feel that creating a kick-ass uber-Metroid app (compatible with iPhones/iPods/iPads/Androids/Tablets) filled with full (aka: 100% items) screenshot/video packed players guides for EVERY game in the series, random Metroid factoids, speedrun links, glitches, sequence breaks, secret worlds, useable wallpapers etc.
It'd pretty much be like the best of SCU and M2k2 wrapped up together for the modern mobile age (but actually up-to-date! ). Now, it isn't feasible to include every little version difference, or every glitch in there, it'd have to a a collection of the most significant findings/things etc.
So I'm throwing this out here early as I'd like the help of the Metroid community in either contributing the content (HQ videos, text etc) OR even just suggestions as to what you'd really like to see. In return for the community's help I'll be able to keep the app free, and of course I'll be linking to the M2k2 forums directly from within the app
So yea, let me know what you think, the app has an immense amount of potential to be utterly amazing, but it'll take a LOT longer without your help/input/feedback. I'm thinking of it as my final Metroid-related swansong for the franchise that still holds a special place in my heart (even if Prime 2, Fusion and Other M tried to rip it out).
