Not impossible
just highly unlikely

If this is true, then it's pretty much the final nail in Metroid's increasingly shit-filled coffin. I guess we'll always have Super and Prime...
Thread title:
red chamber dream
seems impossible that today's nintendo would ever allow that.
That is absolutely disgusting.
Just... no. No, really... no, I tell you! No!

*tries to erase the possibility from his mind*

“Well done is better than well said”
Just by the context clues of the article tells me it is complete bullshit.(please be the case) I wouldn't put it past SyFy though. (Didn't they Have something to do with that ridiculous movie BloodRayne)? Dear god, please don't let Metroid be a SyFy movie.....A 200 million doller major motion picture is what i had in mind.LOL
Anywhere, everywhere
If you read the article, it's clear that it's just a joke.

The movie, rumored to be directed by famed director Uwe Boll will feature a wise cracking ethnic Metroid played by the fat kid from good burger."

I would unironically watch the hell out of that.
SyFy original movie? AH, RUN AWAY! ...but I'd still see it at least once because it's Metroid.

And I'm betting it's highly unlikely that Nintendo would let Boll anywhere near one of their franchises, given his track record.
One shall stand, one shall ball.
SyFy Originals are always fantastic movies.

Defenitely. But I'm not freaking out, thats for sure. I love to watch SyFy movies, as they COULD be possible. Like a genetically enhanced Mosquito for instance, LOL
Super Secret Area - Dead Ahead!
To claw back some sanity from this haemorrhagic abomination, we could always hold out for this instead.  I thought it actually looked halfway decent for a game tie-in.  We'll see...
Fuck off is this ever happening. I don't even see why it warrants an IGN shit-stir of an 'article'.
Ready to internet!
"Update: It's bullshit!"

Well, that's the end of that then.

Have I out-done you?

<<What do you mean? I don't understand.>>
METROID. IS. AWESOME!
I wouldn't mind having an anime about Metroid or an anime movie but I don't want to see a movie where it's real if you know what I mean because the actor's image would define Samus's real-life image. I'm not talking about her cartoonish but still hot 2-d and 3-d images.

Also, shouldn't it be "Samus' boyfriend"?

Yes.
works either way afaik. it's not like samus is plural so that it has to be s' at the end.
I was taught to end any name ending in S with s', not s's. (Seeing as my name ends in S that's how I've always remembered it.)
