I had a similar problem with them. You need to know that seeing a Guardian marked on the map doesn't automatically mean you disarmed him. The most common miss is the one in east Norfair. He is 1st - behind a wrong sided gate you can't visit without Wave Beam yet you can get as close to get his mark on the map, 2nd - hidden in a wall, and 3rd - there is a power bomb chozo in the same room people often collect and misinterpret it for the guardian.

I can't jump into its arms. I just go through them. Now I am stuck on top of its head with no way of moving. I can restart from a previous save state, but I'm wondering if I already disarmed this guardian or if its a bug.
Also, it appears on my map...I think I've already disarmed it? There are so many I forget which ones I've disarmed and which ones I haven't.

There was one that was hard to get to and you had to open a few super missle gates to gain access to it. Or I could be wrong. It's possible it's in another place.
I too got 'lost' as to which guardians I had found and Disarmed. So then I made a chart of how many guardians were in each area (excluding the MAIN one that gives you access to Tourian) ....on all the area maps.
Maybe if the Guardians... I dunno, changed color or had an 'X' on them such as after you defeat a boss. :-s But I know it's too late for that. :P

You can get into Ridley's early, but I would advise against going too far without at least the Screw Attack
I also broke in early during my first playthrough and lets just say this: I got my proverbial you-know-what handed to me by the fourth room.
Edit: I cant view the movie, I keep getting Wrong Rom. Which SMR did you record this with. I have 2.0 and 2.1 Headered. Please dont tell me that you used an unheadered ROM.
Re-Edit: I watched it using the v2.1 headered and that is a pretty clever trick. I have seen by watching tricks on Imposible that a reverse crumble block jump is possible
Look at all the gold pirates he has in there and you will want to get out of there in a hurry.

I feared this would happen... the rom I patched was weird to begin with. I'll exchange the link with a youtube link ASAP.

He didnt use Crystal Flash, he manipulated a crumble block glitch to go up through it while standing inside it
