[SM] Super Metroid: Redesign

I want Samus in headphones.

I recently started playing this. It's really fun, and really hard.

Does it matter which way you go after you get the super missles? I've gone to the right from the elevator back to crateria, and I've gone to the right from the room north of the way to Spore Spawn's room, but I died before I could fully explore them. D: I've died so much already, it's really kinda pathetically funny, since most deaths are by spikes.

Atleast my wall-jumping is improving.

It wasn't a continuous replay -- I just loaded a state closest to that spot, figured out what to do, and recorded a demo.

That one is harder. If I remember correctly, this is the right way to do it. It's easier if you use something like wave beam to kill the enemy I jump over in the second room.

i dont know why but that replay is screwed, it shows some part of brinstar, and samus power bomb some area and then does random stuff.

Does the ROM checksum and movie play settings match? Also, what exact emulator version are you using?

Mine:
ROM: SMR 2.1 headered, B39BEC36;
sync flags: "use WIP timing" on, all other off;
emulator: 1.43 rerecording v9.

It wouldn've been so nice to have a Run meter, or a meter that shows the time remaining in a Shine Spark Charge. Embarassed

Well, unless you like to play with memory addresses clogging up the screen, it will be probably helpful to remember that charge time in SMR is 4 ingame seconds (not counted through doors and elevators). So each time you press down to [re]charge a spark, count to four.

Hey, im stuck again, i have varia suit, power bombs, hi jump boots, speed booster, super missiles, ice, charge, spacer, wave, and now i think im suposed to go to lost lands, but i cant reach it, theres is a lake and i dont have gravity suit, and im not doing that insane shinespark charga saturn did on his run xD. Is there any other way of reaching it? or i am missing something?

you can roll through the glass? I've tested tons for that happening on all glass tubes and have thought I prevented that, are you sure you can do it?

ahh, as far as I can remember you could never roll through a side and unmorph, I killed those in the beta. anyways that guy hasn't explored everywhere, since that Tube is triggered after ridley dies

Ok i have killed riddley, and i have unlocked all the chozo guardians and i have some questions:

I have:

227 Missils
30 Super Missils
29 Power Bombs

All Energy tanks and all the other stuff

1) So i need to know whats the max mis/sup.mis./pow.bo.... is it 230/30/30? oe 250/30/30????

Also i need to know how to open this doors (if possible without killing motherbrain)

I know you've been done with this forever, but an alternate ending would be killer for such an epic hack.
