I guess I have taken the way no one else has <_<;;

I reeally cant find Varia and I cant get into Kraids Area as some weird blocks are in the way(I have powerbombs, but not bombs...)

EDIT: Got into Kraid's area. That was tricky.

EDIT 2: What am I supposed to do in LN. I made it to GT but I dont have enough super missiles(15) and I dont have charge beam to use with The wave beam I obtain.

EDIT3: Beat GT, but I dont really know what to do now. I will assume I must go to Ridley now.
Umm... I finally finished it, but I might note that I switched paths and started over.

I went for the crateria morphball path.

I only killed Kraid and Crocomire as far as bosses go (I assume I SBed badly, though I don't know where).

1:13 with 28%.

Had Varia, Morphball, springball, high jump, speedboost, ice, charge, grapple, 65 missles, 5 power bombs, and 6 etanks.

Electrometer:  Yeah I enjoyed Kraids entrance room.  Spoilers for GT:
There's actually something similar in the GT room

Card:  Somehow you keep breaking things.  If you could explain how you a) exited maridia without bombs and b) what you did to get back to crateria without wave I was be appreciative.

Lets see... For exiting Maridia, I used the tube glitch to escape.

As for getting back to Crateria, it seems to me I abused speedboster, but I'd have to relook over the area to see where.

Edit: After looking through, I have found the problem. I seem to have patched over another used rom (I think it was SM:I, but I'm not totally sure), thus resulting in some small differences between the game I played and the game others played (vague memory of when Kriole patched SM:Boss over Gravy, then proceeded to try to play it, thinking it was all part of Boss). Now I'm off to go play the real game, which is awesome because it'll be like a sequel to me! I noticed this when it seemed I was making too many SB's, and I also couldn't find my SM:I rom anymore.  Sorry for the confusion, but if you fix the Tube glitch, it'll fix most Sbing.

Oh yeah, one more thing I found interesting, and I think this was actually for one of the uncorrupted rooms. Old Tourian escape shaft: the line of half tile floor spanning the entire thing cannot be speedboostered through, but it can be crouch-jumped through from the platfom close underneath it.

edit2: Where (generallyspeaking, like Maridia or Lower Norfair...) were wave/spazer/plasma anyway? Killing Motherbrain with only ice/charge and like 40 missles was a true challenge because I only had 3 etanks to play around with before the eye-beam would kill me.
. . .
Xaggoth :
One small note: A small bug the original programmers left in!  If you grapple beam on Crocomire, it makes him temporarly disassemble himself!  This is due to the fact that your not supposed to get grapple until after that fight!

If giving players the grapple beam before fighting Crocomire, you need to change Crocomire's grapple stat from 8005 to 800F, otherwise you get this problem!

Good hack so far!  I'm in Norfair, (I thought I was stuck, but I just thought of what to do...)
Early Dragoon!  That was the most fun I've EVER had fighting him!
Well I did beat GT. The only think I am woried about is getting through the Ninja Pirates before Ridley. I have wave, but no charge and I wasted most of my Missiles and Super Missiles on the Green pirates...

I am currently just beyond the Larger rising acid room in LN.
can any ridley be beaten without charge? He doesn't allow for refilling...
I must suck.  In the path where you go to early Maridia and get gravity, I'm stuck with 10 missiles, 5 super missiles, morph and gravity.  I can't break the tube or figure out where I'm supposed to go next.

In the path where you skip the missile I need to figure out how to break into Kraid's room, but I'm not asking for help yet, as from reading the thread it appears I'm missing a way to do it.
Acclaimed Threshold
Constant Sorrows
For the Maridia path, you should consult your local spring ball chozo.

Well, looks like I want to fix the shaft then.  I'll just move or remove a few tiles in the final version.  It's not a big change I suppose, probably 30-40 seconds (unless people make a lot of mistakes I guess).

Card:  Those items are all supposed to be route dependent.  Specifically wave-spazer is only possible in one path (I think), wave is the other, and plasma in the third.
Wave: Lower Norfair, Spazer: Norfair, Plasma: maridia

Squishy: Hmmm thanks for posting a solution to croc, that's really unexpected.

Electrometer & Card: Super spoiler:
I, uhh, didn't test Ridley, he's completely optional!  I really don't recommend trying to fight him ASAP unless you have SBed or legitimately gotten charge.  At this time I do not know if Ridley can be killed without charge on the SB charge path.  He's meant to be an afterthought for item completion

Edit: Version 1.2! see first post.
Almost happy
Hey what's the third route (probably is writen down somewhere here but anyway.

The two I know of is:
1. Taking the missile
2. Jumping the missile and taking morphball.

I can't seem to find the third (though I admitedly did not look for very long)
The three routes are:
morphball--->
missiles--->gravity--->
missiles--->powerbombs--->

the powerbomb path puts you on the main path as morphball, only slightly different.

ok... then how Do I get out of Norfair/Kraid Brinstar Area. I dont have Ice to get up the shaft. I dont have bombs to get up there either. I dont have High Jump to try to find a Maridia way out...

The only thing I got from LN is Wave Beam.
Almost happy
You shouldn't need hi-jump to get to crateria through maridia, at least you don't need it with one of the other routes.
You need high jump to get up the shaft.  Try looking for it in rooms that normally have a plm in them but seem to be missing one.

Specifically:
try Norfair

Super specific:
looks for a missing plm near a green missile gate

That has to be one of the worst ways to hide an item...

I got it.

Ok, I got to the room before the statue room and I am missing grapple. Where can I get that. I also cant seem to get back to my ship.
So, I had thought I had high jump proofed the routes, but I guess I missed a really important part.  You can get back to your ship, you just have to want it.  I'll think about editing that shaft since I didn't want an item hidden like that to be necessary.
Finished one route thus far (Gravity Suit Route).

My totals at the end:

8 E-Tanks
3 Reserve Tanks
175 Missiles
55 Super Missiles
Grapple Beam
Beams: Ice, Plasma
Gravity Suit
Morph Ball & Bombs
Speed Booster
Bosses Killed: Draygon, Phantoon, Crocomire, Spore Spawn

I repatched so I wouldn't win unfairly.  :P
In the room where you get the super missles (and the 4 jumping blob things), I tried to shoot those blocks out of the way.  I really needed 6 but only had 5 missles (of course), and got stuck when I tried to jump through the hole I made.

In Maridia, after I get the morphball, then get the Gravity Suit...
Am I supposed to wall jump up to one of the doors in the large room with the grapple blocks (to the door on the top-right)?  Or am I supposed to use that Jump trick with unequiping the Gravity Suit to jump high?

If so, I've tried and couldn't do it - or didn't do it right. :-? either one.

I didn't realize, or didn't read that...  this hack has different paths.  Embarassed
I'm waiting to see if any other major bugs show up before updating again.  If anyone is using a non-gravity suit route they will have to find a stupidly hidden high jump boots.

In the super missile room:  If someone willingly jumps into a 2 block opening I sort of think they deserve what they get.  It's possible with 5 missiles to get in and out.

Gaius:
Both of those should work.  Gravity jumping up should be easier, the second wall jump can be a little tricky, but it's very possible
That's where I got stuck too.  I thought of gravity jumping and tried it for awhile but I still haven't got it to work right.  The final wall jump to get to the door at the top-right of that room is a doozy and I haven't pulled it off.

I'd say this hack is quite a bit trickier than the original.
Well, fortunately that's only an obstacle in one of the three routes.  Later on in that path you will eventually need to either ibj, gravity jump, or preform a really short charge.

version 1.2.5 is out, see first post.  Electrometer's problem has been fixed, high jump is now (as it was meant to be) a luxury.

Heres supers with only 6 of them.

It'll say its the wrong rom, but no desync will happen because its only in one room.

edit: looky here, I did it in five.
I still cant get back to my ship. How do you get back to your ship from the east Brinstar Shaft? Every way seems blocked and I have X-Ray this time.
I'm assuming you found your way back to Crateria and saw the dead end just after the e-tank. Just look around near that area for a way back.
x-ray your way up
