but it will b[e] (as far as I know), the only hack where your choices can change the game.
Both MDZ and Limit also incorporate this feature to some extent, but it is one that I like, as it adds replayability. Unless you are mean that in a different way than those two.
Ok in answer to everyones questions which I can't remember came from who so I'm just going to answer them randomly....
1. You can go straight to the underwater area from the start if you like. It's only about 6-7 rooms underwater, and you don't have to go there first at all. If you want you can wait till you get the gravity suit, if you can wait to get the upgrade down there *watches helpless people scramble about under water because they want to get the item*
2. Yes sorry crys, I only used jpg because I was in a hurry to go somewhere, and I wanted to get the post in yesterday but didn't have time to convert them to png. sowwy
3. Actually I haven't played Limit or MDZ. So i have no idea about their kinds of changes, but I'm pretty sure Impulsion is the only hack where you will have to make a choice between upgrades *watches the same people grab an upgrade, watch the other dissapear, then realise their greed means they have to take a different, harder path*
don't worry, it's still gonna be possible to get 100% (I'm too much of a perfectionist). If you saw my CRE tileset you'd see about 3 copies of sometiles each with a few pixels changed so they match up with how I use them... And there is a secret area in game where you can find upgrades that you didn't choose. Though it will be VERY hard to find (ill give some hint in the surrounding rooms but thats it).'ll tell you to look with in an elevator, that in a certain event, changes direction (no not the ending sequence. That would be stupid).
MORE SCREEN SHOTS!!!
...Well I seem to have given much away about this...
I'm pretty sure Impulsion is the only hack where you will have to make a choice between upgrades .[/spoiler]
Limit I think made you choose between power bombs and super missiles at one juncture. MDZ has three individual routes and in some cases prevents the player from getting items on other routes.

Ohhh damn. I think i might have to play these now. And if i finish them, then yay (honestly, the only hack i've finished is redesign, about 18 hours cause i was looking for items, 100%).
Quote from Phazar:
Is that...a Fusion door? In a Super Metroid hack?
Why yes it is. I like those doors. Actually I like the bubble, the rest of the door can go die, or at least get corrupted in some way.
You no likey the fusion doors??
I think I'll make a poll about doors. Though I don't really want to have to re-draw a lot of door tiles and such...
I like the Fusion doors, it's a good idea. I'm just surprised someone actually decided to use them in a SM hack. I can't tell if you imported the graphics into SMILE from DH if it's even possible, or if you just created the graphic yourself.

Unless Sadiztik Fish did rip them himself or got some one beside me to do it. Then the doors where ripped by me.
Not that it really matters; But hey, you asked.
The new screens looks cool. I don't really got much more to add as the screen shots don't tell me any thing I did not know about the hack already. ^^

they're in my hack. which was already released. along with some mzm tiles too.

Well if I had known that Crys had already drawn Fusion doors I would have asked her if I could use them, but, I got fusion, went up to a door and made about 20 screenshots of the doors opening till I had every sequence, then just copied the bitmaps into TLP over the existing door tiles (though I had to get them to the right size as well.)
Well they're basically the same colors anyway. Blue is normal, red is missiles, green for super missiles, yellow for power bombs, and teal (bluey grey) for locked. And there's still eye doors, but I want to change them a bit because their tiles don't really match up with the fusion doors. I just have no idea what to do with them. I though about making them into some kind of robotic turret thing, but it kinda takes away from the alien-ness of the planet not to have "squishy" doors...
(I use squishy in the sense of Ratchet and Clank 3, where squishy means alive)
The GFX file I made from fusion rips in case you need it Sadiztik Fish. You should know that it's not just simply put it in and every thing works though. The gray door uses more frames for example. All the tiles I did rip are there though. And one of the normal door tiles for the animation is wrongly placed.
Well IE keeps screwing up. Plus I keep getting locked out of the net so I haven't been here in a few days. I've drawn some more tiles so I can have slopes in the tube things. That makes no sense. Just look at the screen shots.
If anyone wants the GFX file I used for the slopes then I'll just post it up here.
Also... Big Blue Fluffy Bunny anyone?
EDIT: Ah crap this was sposed to go in the screenshot thread...

In my opinion, Internet Explorer is about the worst internet browser there is, I'd recommend Firefox or Oprah if IE fails you.
About the screenshots, it's probably okay to post what you have every now and then in the thread devoted to your hack as far as screenshots and video goes, as you see fit.
About Big Blue Fluffy Bunny, Can I have it?? You can e-mail me Big Blue Fluffy Bunny or you can send me Big Blue Fluffy Bunny through the postal mail if I give out my home address to you via. e-mail or personal messaging.... (I won't let my cat attack it)
Regarding the glass tube: I think the new diagonal tiles look OK, but not when connected to a straight part of tube, as having the bend in the glass looks odd. Perhaps having the glass tube end at one of the metal sections, and just having the diagonals between metal sections would look better?
Hard to describe in words, so kneel before my awesome paint.net image edit!
I've had this idea for a while but I have no idea how I'm going to do it :/. I want to edit some of the enemies' gif files so that they look like other things. Well, if you look in the screenshot thread you'll find my Cathedral room which is full of statues. What I want is to make "live" versions of them as enemies.
I just don't know how to edit a gif image and make it still move like a strip
